The apostles refuse to stop speaking in Jesus’ name, declaring, “We must obey God rather than men.” His name calls us to courage and obedience above all else.

Jesus' life on earth was to glorify the father in heaven and make him known. We too can make that our life's purpose again, to glorify God in all things.

In John 17, we're reminded of Jesus' prayer that we would be united under God's love, and demonstrate that to one another.

John 15 encourages us to stay rooted in Christ, so we continue to bear fruit and love one another.

John 14 promises that by His Holy Spirit, God is with us as a friend and guide through every part of life.

John 9 reminds us that sometimes as life is tough and we walk through challenges, our lives are still a powerful witness to others of what God can do.

John 10 tells of life to the full that can only be found in Jesus. Each of us can play our part in giving everyone an opportunity to come alive in Jesus.

John 8: 31-38 speaks of the freedom from sin we can receive from Jesus, and continue to live in the light of.

John 7 encourages us that whoever believes in Jesus receives the life giving Holy Spirit, and that all who are thirsty can come to him and receive life to the full.

In John 4 we read a testimony of an encounter with Jesus, and leads us to an invitation for all to come and see, to take a step towards Jesus.

John 3 is a reminder of the gospel message - We can be born again because of Jesus, and have new life by the Spirit.

In John 2, Jesus showed he cared about showing his power in the seemingly small bits of our lives, with his first miracle on earth.

In John 1, we see Jesus came that the world may see God. We want to create space and spaces for people to meet him, in this generation.

In Joshua 1, we read that as believers we carry the presence of God, so we are to be strong and courageous, and make space for God to be at work.

Psalm 103 reminds us that God is full of mercy, and is deeply interested in our lives, so we can expect him to move today.

John 14 reminds us that peace is found in the presence of God. Jesus left the Holy Spirit with us, so we can have peace today, in His presence.

Romans 5 tells us that God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. This empowers us to keep going with him through challenges, hoping in the fullness of all that is to come.

Corinthians 2:10b-16 Tells us that being filled with the Holy Spirit empowers and transforms our mindsets, enabling us to see things as God sees them.

Acts 1:4-8 Teaches us that we are empowered with the Holy Spirit to be Jesus' witnesses, and to pray bold prayers and dream big.

Isaiah 11:1-3a Tells us that the Holy Spirit guides us! We are empowered because we know we are not in this alone and we can trust that God will show us what to do.

Romans 8:5-6 Tells us that when we are filled with the Holy Spirit we are empowered with God's peace giving our lives and situations a whole new perspective.

In Romans 8:14-17 we read of how being filled with the Holy Spirit empowers us with a certainty that we are children of God, giving us confidence in who we are in Christ.

Prophetic words are a gift of the Spirit, reminding us that God is present and active in our lives today and cares deeply about us. We can ask God to open our eyes and ears to see and hear where he is moving and speaking.

In Acts 10 we see people speaking in tongues - a gift of the Holy Spirit. We too today can be empowered with a language to pray, intercede and praise.

In Acts 14 we read how the Holy Spirit empowers us with signs and wonders that convince us of the truth of the Gospel we preach.
