In 1975, Jorge Luis Borges wrote a short story titled There Are More Things—yes, that’s the title in Spanish. And he wrote it in memory of H. P. Lovecraft. At first glance, it seems like a tribute… and yet, in multiple interviews, Borges made it very clear: to him, Lovecraft wasn’t even worth reading.
