When you have someone who believes in you more than you believe in yourself, it is something money just can't buy.

I was at a mens group this weekend and I observed something very important about self awareness.

Moving through life can be difficult, especially when you're at a point of frustration and can't put it all together to make any sense out of it. We all struggle in many different ways. Today I want to share with you a couple of transitions I went through in life and how I understand more about myself now that I went through them.

I recorded this podcast from my vehicle at 5am. I talk about how we conduct ourselves in toxic work environments.

Its the little things in life that create the small wins that keep us moving forward.

Today I use an analogy from my previous profession to describe how and where to identify issues that are in our lives.

We all do it. Start something an lose interest or hit a road block. But the one thing that keeps us ahead and prrepared is consistency.

Our job and our work are very different. The job is an ends to a means, something your got to out of responsibility to pay the bills. The work is your purpose in life, your calling, something that brings excitement and fulfillment.

Ninety percent of the things we worry about never happen. So why do we act this way and how can we combat these intrusive thoughts?

We all have scars; our faults, failures and disappointments. Areas we're not proud of and would sooner bury them or at least hide them from human view. The Japanese have an art form that takes a broken piece of pottery, and instead of tossing it out, they rebuild it using liquid gold or silver. Learning from individuals who are doing what you desire to do in life is one thing, but being a cookie cutter replica of them is not expressing your true authenticity. You are who you are; quirks, style and looks. BE YOUR ORIGINAL SELF.

You can have all the gifts, talents and abilities but without consistency, hard work and a specific regimen, you will not make it.

We all make mistakes, the difference is using them as leverage to better your future.

There's something powerful about dreaming. In today's podcast I talk briefly about giving yourself permission to dream again.

I talk about an event in my childhood where I encountered a very embarrassing and painful situation at school that was a direct contradiction to my assignment in life. What event has contradicted your assignment in life?   

Sometimes we can find ourselves in a funk. Its ok to to feel that way for a few days but we must not stay there. You have a purpose in life and you are highly valued. Let this week be a better week for you. 

Stewarding what you have will greatly impact, not just your life, but those you connect with. If we become selfish and self absorbed with what we have we miss the point of our purpose in life. We give of ourselves in service to others. Being a good steward of your gifts talents and abilities will have a greater impact to society far greater than you could ever imagine. ENJOY!

People tell us 'when one door closes another door opens'. That's all well and good but they never tell you about the Hallway in between. It can be a difficult place to be, but understanding why they are necessary will help you navigate the twists and turns as you move towards the next season and the next door. ENJOY!

Don't give up on your dream. Push through. We have an opportunity in life to make a difference that can potentially affect many people, including ourselves. There are days when we all feel like throwing in the towel, but if we are honest with ourselves, we can't afford to do that and give up. KEEP GOING ONE MORE SEASON. Your in it to WIN it.
