The party convinced Duke Oakright to send 2,000 soldiers to aid Rugo so long as they agree to fight alongside them. Roke & Tariq agreed to go along but have refused to fight. Roke made Pierre give him the mysterious box and the scroll in order for Roke to agree to swear the oath to Duke Oakright to accompany the army. They are now marching northward.

The party helped the survivors of a town that Hilp's band had attacked. Hilp was hanged from a tree by the towns folk, executed for his crimes. The party defeated a band of 6 Suther raiders, took a prisoner named Hilp, found a wagon full of goodies, and made their way to a town that Hilp's band had recently raided.

The party fought and slayed an ancient winged beast in the Western Wall. They then hiked through the mountains and made their way south to a small fishing village known as Forog. The party got attacked by a Westerling man who Gram recognized as a guard from the High Elder's palace. Junia shot him and brought him down, but the man killed himself before the party could reach him. Pierre was healed by the Kahina, Roke learned more about Fjallraven. The party learned that their next step in their quest to "become Westerlings" was to bid farewell to the High Elder. and Alraab to make way to the Dried Oasis in the center of the Westerlands. They've just left and begun their journey on camel back.

The party explored the Cave of Ullar, retrieved bones from various High Elders. The cave was full of illusions and trickery. Pierre's mask was shattered into pieces by an arrow in the cave. They battled a mysterious shadow creature, which they believe may have been the spirit of the High Elder that destroyed the Lost Qabul, Hoda, centuries ago. They reemerged to an audience of a thousand cheering...

The party met the High Elder. They also met the Dahia Al-Kahina, received strange visions, and learned they must enter the Cave of Ullar. They received gifts from the High Elder, and are readying to enter the cave and take the next step of their journey.

Tariq defeated Milak in a Mubaraza, becoming Elder of Jatoruk. He received a major injury. He used his authority as Elder to give the party enough supplies to make it Alraab. They moved very quickly, Roke taking to camel riding very effectively. After only three days of travel, they arrived at the capital of the Westerlands, the seat of the High Elder.

The party met Tariq's family. The local Kahina, an ancient woman named Farah, told Tariq "Great leaders do not seek to lead. The party travelled, mostly in the darkness, starved and dehydrated. They ran into Yareem, Tariq's closest brother in age, who was leading his own hunting party. They linked with the hunting party, learned of tensions in Tariq's home Qabul, and travelled for 4 days total before arriving at Jatoruk. Roke heard a voice emanate from his rapier once again.

The party has hiked 2 days into the Western Wall. They have been hearing strange, unnatural sounds in the distance during the nights. They learned that there is an optional detour halfway through the journey that leads to a body of water. The party arrived to Cario and learned that Adam Weller, the Steward of the West, is in a delusional denial about the existence of a threat of war. They received a wagon and 10 days worth of food & water, then left west. During they journey Flae met up with them and joined the party. The party has now arrived at the Western Wall.

The parade happened. Junia took command and steered the party to supporting Naron. Pierre was prevented from going to the parade and Roke was prevented from speaking. Junia spoke in favor of Naron. The guards have been removed from surveilling the party. Roke comforted Pierre, then Pierre visited the graves of his family.

The party has been put under house arrest. After 2 days of starvation, Gram and Pierre were released from the dungeon for agreeing to cooperate. Arthur Prio and Naron have planned a parade to show off the prophecy, culminating in them bending the knee to Naron.

Carmen approached the party and asked them to support her in opposing Naron at some point. They said no. In the dead of the night the party was kidnapped from their rooms by Naron. Pierre mentioned important information the party had. Naron told them that he would give them what they've requested in exchange for 1) this information; 2) publicly bending the knee and swearing an oath of loyalty and...

The party encountered a giant riot beginning due to the double taxation in Penright. They then witnessed the execution of a westerling. When the westerling was revealed Carmen told the party that she did not believe that it was actually J'roq.
