We carry a lot of unnecessary baggage 🎒 but we cannot carry all our worries and problems - our strength is limited, but God’s is not 💪 we need to learn to surrender these burdens before Him, trusting Him with every situation, and letting go of that weight so that we can live lightly 😌 as we continue our journey to become Resilient, we’ll discover the importance of living Surrendered 🤲

Resilience requires inner strength but what does that really mean? And how do we get it? 🤔 we’re continuing our talk about being Resilient, and we’re going to learn how to find our inner strength 💪 during times when we would otherwise want to give up.

Life has thrown us many curveballs and we’ve had to adapt quickly 😓 this has left us feeling worn out and struggling… is there a way to recover? This Sunday we’re starting a new series: Resilient, in which we’re going to learn how we can have the strength to overcome 💪 in Part 1 we’re talking about how we can Stand Firm in the midst of our challenges 😌

This Sunday we’re wrapping up Women’s Month by taking a look at some women in the Bible who helped make their world a better place 🌍 the characteristics of these women who served and worked to make a difference should encourage us to do the same 🙏 let’s be inspired to make a positive impact, where we are, as we live lives in obedience to God 🙌

Perhaps you’ve heard the saying “Broken crayons still colour” 🖍️ even in their brokenness they still have purpose. But have you noticed how we tend to disqualify ourselves because we feel broken? 😔💔 scripture paints a different picture - one where God uses people, even in their brokenness, for incredible things 📖 let’s be encouraged by how God makes Beauty from Brokenness ✨

Did you know that people can speak between 7000-16 000 words per day?! 😲 that’s a lot of words! Hearing this should make us wonder, how are we using them? 🤔 join us as we talk about the power of our words 🗣️ and see how scripture warns us to use our words wisely, and be challenged to Speak Life 💬

Life is filled with ups and downs… but how do we cope with these constant changes? ⬆️⬇️ we can’t avoid the highs and lows of life, so it’s important that our hope and trust is anchored in the One who is strong and unchanging 💪 this Sunday we’re learning some practical ways to survive the ups and downs 🙏

This Sunday in Part 2 we will take a brief look at worship in eternity past, as well as practical aspects of our corporate worship 🎶 as we learned last week, we are called to be expressive worshipers, so let's gather to express our worship to Him and learn more about this eternal topic 🙏

Over the next two Sundays we’ll be talking about Worship 🙌 of all that we do as a Church, worship is the only thing we will continue to do in eternity. This Sunday is Part 1 of “WORTHY – The Power and Posture of Worship”. Let's dive into this topic, because if it matters to God, it matters to us 📖

The second semester is about to start, how are you feeling about the second half of this year? Are you still going strong, or feeling worn out? 😓 however you’re feeling, we all need a reminder to run our race with endurance 🏃‍♂️ this Sunday we’re taking a look at how we can endure the challenges we face, and find the strength to Keep Going 👣

This Sunday we're hearing from Madalena Gomes, a missionary from Brazil who has been in Africa for 25 years 🌍 in a message titled “GO”, she shares how she received her call to Africa, and how God has been faithful in her journey 🙏 her message will also remind us that we do not have to cross the ocean to obey the command of Jesus to Go! Let's be encouraged by her story 💬

We live in days of constant change 🔄 change can be good, but too much change in short periods of time can cause anxiety and instability in our lives 😥 we need to be reminded that in an ever-changing world there is Someone who remains constant. Knowing that God doesn’t change, and that His promises are true, means that we can face the future without fear or anxiety 😌

As we wrap up our Raise Them Up series, we’ll be going back more than 3000 years to a speech which contains parenting material that’s as relevant today as it was back then, and maybe even more so! 💬

This Sunday is Father’s Day, so we will continue with our parenting series, Raise Them Up, which we started on Mother’s Day. In Part 2: Trust God, we will learn that we must not put our faith in our efforts as parents. As important as our efforts are in raising children, our faith must ultimately be in God. Join us as we take time to encourage fathers and pray for them 🙏

In Part 1 of our series we heard that Isaiah had a vision of the Lord where He asked “Whom shall I send?” 🤔 that question still echoes today. We are all called, but will we go? 👣 in Part 4 of Our House, we will hear the story of a couple who answered that call in the USA and came to Africa to plant churches ⛪ join us as Pastor Jamie Peters shares his story in the message “Answer the Call” 💬

As we continue our series, we’ll be talking about an important part of our faith - living it out, and becoming more like Christ 🙏 we need to realise that whether we are aware of it or not, we are representing Christ and His church ⛪ so what message are we sending? How are we behaving? 🤔 let's take a look at some ways we can do what Jesus did 📖

Based on Ephesians 4, we see that our life as believers has meaning and purpose because of what Christ has done for us ✝️ however, it will require courage and obedience on our part to respond to God’s call to live a life of unity with other believers 🙏

In Part 1 of our new series, “Our House”, we will consider what the Lord may be saying to each one of us in response to His question in Isaiah 6:8, “Whom shall I send?” 🤔

Two days a year are dedicated to celebrating parents: Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. However, parenting is a full time, 365 days a year job 😅 parenting is A High Calling, and that’s what we’ll be talking about in the first part of our parenting series, Raise Them Up, starting this Sunday. We will also be praying for our mother's 🙏 honouring and celebrating them 🥰

We’re wrapping up our Cross Reference series by talking about Time and Eternity ⏳ Since the beginning of time man has longed for long life 👴 and significance beyond the years he spends on earth. Let’s see how the Bible reveals how to link up to eternity and experience eternal life both now and in the future ✨

In part 3 of our Cross Reference series, we will look at the theme of Israel and the Church ⛪ has the Church taken the place of Old Testament Israel? Are we as Christians supposed to include some Jewish rituals and practices to be genuine believers? Let's find out as we get into the word 📖

In the Old Testament, God speaks of a coming New Covenant 📜 and in the New Testament, particularly in the book of Hebrews, Jesus is revealed as the initiator of this New Covenant 🙏 in Part 2: Love, not Fear, we will hear about two powerful things Jesus accomplished though His death and resurrection, and two key differences between the old and the new covenants 📖

This Sunday we’re launching our new series: Cross Reference 🤓 over the next few weeks we will make the connection between Old Testament and New Testament Scriptures, and how they impact our lives today 📖 in Part 1: Alive Indeed, we are reminded to hold on to the truth of the death and resurrection of Jesus, and that this is a truth on which our faith is based ✝️

The resurrection of Jesus is an event which causes us to step back and take another look at things from the Lord’s perspective 👀 in our Easter message, Look Again, we will consider three events related to the resurrection of Jesus which caused those involved to change their perspectives and assumptions. Let’s celebrate the resurrection of our Saviour 🙌

Palm Sunday is here 🌿 and in this message we’re going back to that first Palm Sunday to explore what people thought about Jesus 💭  we will also consider what some people have thought about Jesus over the years, and who He said He was, as we prepare to enter Holy Week ✝️
