As we’ve been hearing in this series, offences can keep us trapped 🪤 and allow bitterness and resentment to cause division. So what do we do when we’ve been offended? 🤔 and can we live free from offence? Let’s talk about overcoming offence as we wrap up this series 💬

How do you deal with a sin that can sneak up on you almost unnoticed? 👀 one that causes damage and division, and yet is encouraged by the world… This Sunday we’re talking about what is considered one of the original sins, and we’ll be looking at its many facets and dangers. He is risen! 🙌 Jesus’ resurrection is the foundation of our belief that death does not have the final say. Through His resurrection, we have been given LIFE - not just a restored life in relationship with God here on earth, but eternal life in His presence 🙏 the resurrection is a declaration that Death is Defeated! ✝️

We’re ending our Journey to the Cross by taking a look at the events that took place on the eve of Christ’s crucifixion ✝️ Jesus gathered with His disciples to celebrate Passover, however this celebration turned out to be unlike any other. Jesus was about to transform it into a new covenant 🥖🍷 a covenant that would be written in His blood and sealed by His sacrifice 🙏

It’s Palm Sunday 🌿 as we continue our Journey to the Cross, we’ll be taking a look at why this event was so important 📖 Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem marks the beginning of Holy week, so as we approach the Easter weekend, we want to take some time to talk about the meaning of what took place that day 🙏

Has a certain scent ever triggered a memory for you? It’s amazing how the smell of something can take you back to a particular moment 😌 for those present when Jesus was anointed in Bethany, the fragrance of the oil used would forever remind them of that event 🙏 in Part 2 of our Journey to the Cross series we’ll see the significance of what Mary did that evening 🏺
