Pastor also explores what truth is and takes us through Ephesians 4 as we discover several forms of truth. E...

There is a spiritual war raging around us. The Christian lfe is one of spiritual warfare. We can put on the armor of God to resist the enemy - the devil and all his forces - secure in the knowledge that Jesus has already won the final victory. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spi...

It is by God's power, it is by being strong in Him, it is in using the armor of God that you and I can not only stand against the devil's schemes, but also witness to others whom God is leading out from the power of the devil. Evidence from history, the bible, and geography points to the very events of the Book of Exodus, when God broke into history and delivered His people from bondage. The testimony of the rocks is also the testimony of the Word. The God who broke into history in Moses' day is the same God who broke into history at the time of our Savior Jesus Christ, delivering us from the bondage of sin and reconcil...

Scriptures Psalm 22, John 19:24 God provides remarkable glimpses of Jesus in the Old Testament.  Psalm 22 speaks to our hearts – when we feel abandoned by God. Psalm 22 speaks to our minds – foretelling the suffering of Jesus 1,000 years beforehand. Psalm 22 is all about Jesus' suffering but also about His triumph. What happened to Jesus at His crucifixion is the fulfillment of prophesy. Jesus ful...

Scriptures: Daniel 9:1-26 Pastor opens class with a life history of Daniel. In today's story, Daniel is an old man, probably in his eighties. Jesus warns that no one can serve two masters. Will you be devoted to God, or to "stuff?"

Jesus told this story of two prayers, and the two pray-ers. One prayed about his own righteousness; the other prayed in humility and repentance. Which man went home forgiven?

Jesus often answered a question with a question of His own. But when asked, "Who is my neighbor?", He answered by telling a story -- a story that asks the same question of us today.

In the parable of the sower, Jesus compares the Word of God to seed falling on four different kinds of soil: hardened, shallow, thorny, and productive. Which soil does God's Word find in you?

Is your life built on a solid foundation, or on an unstable one? What did Jesus say was a solid foundation?

Scripture: Exodus 34:6-7, Lamentations 3:22-23, 1 John 4:10, 1 John 4:7-21, 1 Timothy 1;15. From Genesis to Revelation the steadfast love of God is very evident and His steadfast love is shown in spite of human rebellion. Even when we turn away from Him, He is still there. In Lamentations the prophet Jeremiah understands the steadfast love of God as He prays, "The steadfast love of the Lord never...

The Gospel of John Week 12 Scripture: John 7:53 - 8:58. Pastor begins today's class with the story found in John 7:53-8:11, which is a controversial piece of the Bible because not all manuscripts have these verses. Pastor shares that whether originally there or whether they were added later, there's much to learn from these verses about who Jesus is. As this text opens we see that the Jewish relig...

Scripture: Psalm 119:105, Mark 7:6-23, Ezekiel 26, Luke 24. "Can I really trust what the Bible says?"
