Pastor Neyda explores the Parable of the Wedding Feast of how we've been invited to the wedding feast and that we are called to invite others to the table of God.

In Matthew 13, Matthew tells a story about the receptivity of different kinds of soil to the seeds of faith. What kind of soil does the Gospel find in our hearts?

The world encourages us to indulge and give into our passions and desires. "If it feels good, do it." The Scriptures teach us another way to combat sin and to allow our lives to testify to the life Jesus desires for us.

We live in a world that elevates power, dominance, and even violence. The Bible teaches something different: Gentleness. This week, we look to see that gentleness begins with God, is exhibited in Jesus' life, and consider how it can be evident in our lives as we live with one another.

As we continue in our series on the Fruit of the Spirit, we look at the virtue of Faithfulness. The Scriptures tell us that God is faithful- as those who follow Jesus, we are called to be faithful in our walk with God and in our relationships with others.

We see an emphasis on kindness wherever we go, but we don't always see it practice. Deep and meaningful kindness starts with God and extends to those around us. Join us as Pastor Neyda walks us through what it looks like to live out kindness.

What if people described you the same way the Bible describes God? Gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in love. This is what it looks like when we truly follow Jesus and live out the fruit of the Spirit! 

What is peace? The absence of conflict? A peaceful feeling? When Paul speaks of Peace in Galatians, he is speaking of how Christians are to live in the world. This morning, we explore what it looks like to cultivate peace in our lives.

In our Cultivate Fruit series, we examine joy as evidence that the Spirit of God is alive in us. Christians should find and share joy with the world rather than being sour and downcast because the joy of the Lord is our strength!

It all begins with love. When Paul writes about love in the Fruit of the Spirit, he is most likely talking about loving our neighbor. Who is your neighbor? 🤔 Jesus might surprise you with His answer. It's not always who we expect... and sometimes it's the people we struggle with the most. 

As we begin a new series on the Fruit of the Spirit, Pastor Steve walks us through the importance of becoming like Christ in word and deed, and how a Christ-like life will produce fruit that looks like Jesus.

On Resurrection Sunday, we listen to the words of John in his 1st letter as he recalls the experience of seeing the resurrected Christ, and how that fueled his ministry. 

Pastor Neyda walks us through the final sign of Jesus in the Gospel of John: the raising of Lazarus from the tomb. We consider how Jesus meets us in these low places and yet does not leave us here. 

In John 9, Jesus heals a man who was born blind. The Pharisees cannot believe what they see. It turns out that those with sight cannot truly see. May God give us eyes to see who Jesus is and to see those who Jesus loves.

This morning, we look at John 6:6-21 where Jesus comes to the disciples on the water and calms the storms. Sometimes, Jesus works in us before our circumstances change around us. The presence of Jesus allows us to bring peace wherever God leads us.

In John 6, we are told of Jesus feeding the 5,000. Part of the miracle is the abundance that Jesus offers the people. In a world where love, grace, and mercy often seem scarce, Jesus offers more than we could imagine.

Pastor Steve picks up on the third sign of Jesus in the Gospel of John in chapter 5 where Jesus encounters a man with a disability for 38 years. Jesus asks him, "Do you want to be made well?" This is a question we must ask ourselves when we've allowed our identity to be shaped by the world's messages and scripts rather than by Jesus.

Today we begin a new series where we investigate the signs, or miracles, of Jesus in the Gospel of John. These signs point to who Jesus is and the mission he came to fulfill. This week, Pastor Neyda takes us through the miracle at the Wedding at Cana of Galilee to show us that Jesus is Just in time and more than enough.

As we begin the New Year, many people are making resolutions and seeking to live in step with God. How do we hear and understand God's purpose and plans for our lives? This week, Pastor Steve shares four steps to gain clarity in discerning God's will for our lives.

It's the first week of Advent! As we light the first candle on the Advent Wreath, we look at the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth and how they experienced hope in the midst of lifelong disappointment.

Pastor Steve looks at Luke 17:11-19 as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving. Within the text there is the encouragement to look for gratitude in unexpected places, and a warning not to give into the temptation to be jaded or cynical during this season of thanks.
