A win for City on the road is a big deal, but the match itself was a slog. One highlight to cover in City's 1-0 win over Colorado is all we have, plus a Durkin red card. STL City SC wraps up their 2025 season with a draw against Real Salt Lake. It ends much like it started. A good LAFC team that City earned a draw with back on 4/27 is much improved with their new forward attacker, fresh off of a 10-year stint with the Premier Leagues Totenham Hotspurs. STL City played well against the Whitecaps, and in 2025 haven't allowed a goal in the run-of-play against the 3rd place, Western division foes. That wasn't enough though. A last-minute PK was awarded to allow their new captain a chance to put home the winner. A loss, but not a horrible loss. STL City SC falls to Chicago Fire 3-2 at Seat Geek Stadium last weekend. What's the takeaway here? It was a bad first 30 minutes, but it was a little better at the half as STL City SC pulled within a goal. It ended in a 4-2 loss to Orlando City SC after an 11 day break in the season.
