We're less than one week from the UTICA indoor lacrosse championships and @lozplayslax drops this absolute banger of an instalment in my inbox. In Episode 52 I got the absolute privilege of talking with recently appointed England mens head coach Pat Scarpello. Pat became head coach for the mens team in March after taking over from previous guest Doug Shanahan, he's had 3 months to work with the team before they fly out for the world championships next week.

What a dude! about five people have personally requested or suggested i do an episode with Rich, another great individual involved in our amazing game. Rich was great fun to talk with, I loved hearing how he is finding coaching the national women's teams S and C programme as well as hearing his opinions on a number of other topics including S and C within the school system. I've been watching Richmond for quite some time now, the emergence of a new junior club is enough to excite any lax enthusiast. In Episode 49 we carry on with Richard Gartside and get into what I call the bulk of the questions. Not going to lie Rich had some tough questions to answer but as the only representative of NEMLA now NLL i've ever managed to get onto the show I think he did absolutely amazing and made some very valid points. Episode 48 we talk with EL employee and NLL board member Richard Gartside, I used to work with Rich and always loved talking with him whether it be lacrosse or life in general. Rich covers numerous areas of our game and has dedicated a lot of time to the sport whether it be through work or in his own capacity.

Episode 45 we catch up with Steve McDermott. There isn't an area of our game Steve has previously been or is involved in, school lacrosse, International duties, coaching 101, lacrosse retail, the self confessed lacrosse nerd is in it all.  We hit snag after snag with Steves episode but i'm glad to say we finally got there. episode 44 We catch up with European sensation Ryan Wallace. Ryan grew up in the states and now resides in Berlin Germany, he covers all areas of both the mens and women's game and is keen to see both flourish. I really enjoyed talking with Ryan, it's not every episode I get to just sit back and listen to my guest talk and tell stories but this is one of those episodes.

Episode 43 we talk to the Wales and GB sensation, Laura Warren. Laura's a true inspiration for many people in our game, take a listen to her story and some of the achievements she has made along the way.

Episode 42 we talk with Harry Dobson the founder of the Home Nations Lions and discuss the version of our game that brings the men's and women's games together, Mixed Lacrosse.
