Season 2 of Game of Thrones is a real stinker, but we trudge through it and question if this rematch project was a good idea.

Most everyone is down in the dumps over Ned's beheading, but things are looking up. Jon doubles down on his duty, his brother Rob gets an unexpected promotion, and Dany dabbles in blood magic.

Like Winter, we should have seen this coming. Episode 9 of the first season of Game of Thrones sets the precedence for the seasons that follow. Doug and Brian recount their first impressions of this traumatic event. Plus we get our first look at Walder Frey, the worst babysitter ever.

The Westeros Baptist Church just won’t go away, while the McPoyles/Freys make a triumphant return and Benjen-hands teaches us how to juice a rabbit.
