Kerouac has thinly veiled his true life events, and those of his friends, with pseudonyms and cavorts with Nihilistic Hedonism until the cows come home. I review the novel, "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides. It is a Family Saga/Epic tale with Coming of Age and Slice of Life flavours. The reader enjoys stories through three generations, some anecdotes taken from the author's own life inserted, of a Greek family that found their way to America. The bulk of the story takes place in the late 60s through the eyes of a teen trying to navigate their world...

The FUBAR films are an irreverent, lowbrow, very Canadian story about friendship in idiocy. The first is a Mockumentary and the second a real Christmas film.
