We're all extremely guilty of sacrificing a huge chunk of our life in the name of keeping peace on your street. What we do for others physically takes away from your efforts and dreams and most of the time you aren't getting that space back. As long as you offer your energy to others they will endlessly depend on it. Breaking that cycle in the way of realizing your own set aside dreams.

It's completely natural to base your life story on the interpretation of where you presently stand. I'm no doctor to tell you it's healthy but the junk needs to get out of your trunk. We play the telephone game with how it really went down. Each time a subject is brought up it's given a little twist. After a few years leading into decades... what's the real adventure?

Living in a forest for over three decades introduces your senses to many different experiences. One of them being the scent of death. Pulling back the lens, what can we learn from a change in the atmosphere that doesn't agree with our visions of moving forward?

When we receive are we willing to share? They say that when you die you can't take anything with you. I don't agree with that. If you do not plant your gifts received in life forward by sharing with those next in line, you took it. It was never yours to keep.

Being a huge part of the digital generation has come with a massive price that's come due. Being physically disconnected from human contact has turned us into solo hot shots that rely on text messaging and camera phones to think we are united with all we come in contact with. We're constantly complaining about how fast life is moving. What if we started walking and learning things at a snails pace? Do we really need that much information in one lifetime?

A man once said to me that his generation used to rely on the physical use of awareness to be able to predict weather and other unstablizing conditions.  It taught me how to listen to a forest.  Tree's collect an ample amount of friends but are you choosing to take note?

We're all guilty of it. We run from shadows and shade. Yet while walking through a forest although the temperature will change, we keep marching forward. When then while our minds are filled with shadows and shade do we feel like a wall is keeping us from maintaining the full vision of success?

When the trees in a forest take control of what you're wanting to see and they say, "No." Plants making our decisions obsolete.

Massive corporate cutbacks are nothing new. Being part of the broadcast industry for 46 years we've walked through many many tight situations based not on delivering quality but quantity with the fewest number of players. While with the big motha of them all broadcast companies I found peace in my heart when I realized I don't front a physical department. I am a team of won. And we did win!

The Cicada's have returned.  They've waited 13 to 17 years to resurface.  This go around I've chosen to write about it, whereas in chapters past...I'm not sure it was shared.  There's a scent in the air that is still just as vibrant.

The mysteries of nature. So many people chase the sunlight, shadows, droplets of water and whatever else serves as a bread crumb leading to the destination of uncovering a mystery. Is that really what you want or are you more inspired and influenced by not know? It happens to us more than just in a forest. It's all around us. Mystery! The art of not know. Is that your true fuel of locating the end...

The multiple layers of mindsets we carry forward and somehow, we're convinced Mother Nature only gives the planet four seasons to deal with. Yet, as humans we're endlessly making our way through storms and temperature changes in attitude. What can we learn from nature?

I'm a firm believer of doing whatever mystery allows us to chase. It's not that we ever want to locate the source of why we're on the journey, the energy of the mystery guides our midnight sailing ships.

We get so used to smashing bugs, cutting the heads off snakes and clearing the land of several hundred deer. Man is control of that! Yet we complain about crime and the murders associated. Why is this balance off? Learning to love all living things strengthens our connections in life. Time to stand on the sidelines like a silent wolf and learn new things about being present.
