Today in our reflections on Galatians, we look at 4: 1-7, and we see this wonderful phrase, "in the fullness of time." At just the right time, place, and to the right people, Jesus was born. God has a plan for all the world, God has a plan for you and me. At just the right moment Jesus born. At just the right moment, you are where God has you.

Today in our readings from Galatians, we look at 3: 6-18. We see that promise given to Abraham goes before the law given to Moses. Abraham is the father of all who believe in faith. The law was given not to save, but to mark as being different. Being holy.

Today in our readings, we look at Galatians 3: 1-5, and in this passage, we will see the key to our spiritual growth. We live like this - we are saved by faith and our faith grows through works. Saved by faith, sanctified by works. This is not the case and is the reason why so many of us are frustrated with our faith. What, then, are we to do?

Today in our readings, we look at Galatians 2: 15-21 and we see the truth of the Gospel. If we can do anything, anything at all to save ourselves, then Christ died for nothing. We don't earn our salvation. It is simply a gift from our God.

Today, in Galatians 2: 11-14, we see Paul call out Peter. Peter was doing something wrong and Paul called him out. Today, many are ready to call out someone for what they have done. But few are ready to the work of building a relationship to make sure that the words actually stick. Let's call out wrong, but let's also do the relational work to make sure it works.

Today in our reading from Galatians, we look at 2: 1-10. In this passage we see Paul tell of how he went to the leaders of the church and had them make sure that what he was teaching was right. Paul understood that he, and all of us, need accountability in our lives.

In our reflections for today, we look at Galatians 1: 11-24. In this passage, we see Paul talk about how Jesus called him in the same way that Jesus called the others. He shares his faith and is reminded of how good God is. And he trusts in God's plan. Always.

In our reflections today, we look at Daniel 3: 13-18. We see Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego face consequences for not worshiping false gods. They say God can save us, but even if He does not, we will not bow down. An alive faith does not look at just what it can receive from God; an alive faith looks at what it can and should give.

Today in our reflections, we look at Acts 4: 8-12. In this passage, we see Peter tell the assembled crowd that Jesus is the cornerstone of everything. Jesus must be the cornerstone of faith, not some other doctrine, and the cornerstone of life, not some other, even good thing. Only Jesus can be the foundation. Only Jesus.
