Today we look again at Ephesians 6: 5-9.  In this passage, Paul tells us a simple truth, everything we do is for God's glory. Everything. No task is too great, or too small, that it is not to be done for God's glory.  All of our life is worship.  All of it.

Today we look at Paul's teaching regarding parents and children. First, we see that children are to obey and honor their parents. What does that mean, especially as we grow older?  And what about if our parents aren't acting in ways that really deserve that honor and obedience.  We also see that Paul has a word for children. How are we to raise and discipline them in the Lord?

Today we begin a section in Ephesians that deals with the different relationships within our lives. Today, we look at what Paul says for husbands and wives, and it is words that you have heard before.  Join us as we look deeper.

June 3, 2021 – Ephesians 5: 1-20 – Wake Up 03.06.2021

Today in our readings, we see that constant battle between light and darkness. To live in the darkness may seem comfortable and appealing, but it does not lead to life. To walk in the light means that first we must wake up and let Christ's light shine upon us. That first light can seem blinding and can even be painful. But when we wake up and live in the light, we find life.

June 2, 2021 – Ephesians 4: 25-32 - Angry 02.06.2021

In our reading today, we see Paul offer some very practical advice for us as Christians in how we live our daily lives.  One of the things that we see, that comes up in this passage is this, anger. We are told, be angry, but do not sin. How do we deal with anger? What does that look like within our lives?

Today we read through Ephesians 3: 1-13.  We see this beautiful word from Paul, we can go before God with boldness.  You are loved by God, but you are forgiven through Jesus. Today, you can boldly go to the Father.  

May 19, 2021 – Ephesians 2: 1-10 - A Big House 19.05.2021

Today in our readings, we look at Ephesians 2: 1-10. We see that God is building a big house, a holy house, a temple for His dwelling.  The foundations for this house are the teachings of the Apostles and the Prophets, which Jesus as the cornerstone. What exactly is this house being built upon?

May 18, 2021 – Ephesians 2: 1-10 - Faith and Works 18.05.2021

Today we look at Ephesians 2: 1-10.  In this passage we see that we are saved by grace through faith, so no one can boast. But we learn as well that the same God who gives us salvation is also the same God who gives us the good works that He has prepared for us.

May 17, 2021 – Ephesians 1: 15-23 – Our God is Greater 17.05.2021

Today we continue in Ephesians, we look at 1: 15-23.  In this passage, we are reminded once again at the greatness of our God.  Sometimes we forget just our great our God is because we forget to look up!  Our God is greater than all things!  Look up and be reminded!

May 14, 2021 – Ephesians 1: 1-14 - God's at Work 14.05.2021

Today in our reflections, we started Ephesians.  We'll look at 1:1-14.  We see today that not only are we not saved by our works, but even our faith, that is a gift of God.  God is at work in all things and is bring us to salvation for His glory! 

May 13, 2021 – Galatians 6: 11-18 - Boasting 13.05.2021

Today in our final passage from Galatians Paul tells us that if he is going to boast in anything, it will be in the cross of Jesus Christ.  Nothing else in this world can satisfy.  Only Jesus.

Tonight in our final bible study of the semester, we talk of the importance of the return of Christ, and the hope that this truth provides to us.  This truth is not something that is scary; it is something that gives us great hope! 

May 12, 2021 – Galatians 6: 1-10 - Burdens 12.05.2021

Today in our readings, we look at Galatians 6: 1-10.  In this passage we see Paul tell us to bear each others burdens. But we are to bear our own burdens as well.  In this, Paul gives us a beautiful picture of what life can be like.

In our Sunday Traditional Sermon, Andy looks at John 15: 1-17.  Every branch that bears fruit, Jesus prunes.  His pruning doesn't mean that He is done with us.  It means He sees fruit in us.
