In life, it is wise and prudent to remember it is appointed unto men to die once and after that comes the judgment. It is wise to remember that we have not been placed in this world to indulge ourselves but to live for God and His glory.

Pastor Jack begins a series addressing singles and some of the issues they face, endeavoring to paint a landscape of the war zone that our youth and singles are growing up in.

Here we see the sovereignty of God planning and predestinating the crucifixion of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. In our text we discover the tension between man’s responsibility and God’s sovereignty, which must be accepted and believed in for it is true.

When the church practices church discipline in a loving, biblical way, the world hears about it and realizes that the church is serious about sin. This then is a strong witness for the holiness of Christ and his church.
