Josh Innes
All Up Innes
Hello! I'm Josh. Perhaps you remember me from my radio shows that aired in such great American cities as Baton Rouge, Houston, Philadelphia, Houston again, New Orleans, Nashville, Detroit, Memphis, St. Louis or most recently Detroit (again). I'm glad you are here. In all my stops I've been accused of many things. I don't know sports I'm a shock jock I'm a nepo baby Well, that's all fine. What I do know is I enjoy drinking domestic beer, betting on sports and smoking meat. If that's not for you, cool.

The Absurdity of National Signing Day 04.12.2024 26:42
It is National Signing Day! Yayyyy. Today we get to see which high school kids will be entering the transfer portal in 2025. Part of me can't blame these guys for essentially holding programs hostage. On the other hand, no one in college athletics seems to value commitment. I have a fairly interesting thought about why Nick Saban left coaching.
Spotify Wrapped 04.12.2024 26:19
I don't really use Spotify so I don't get to have one of these graphics showing the world what I consume. I'm actually experiencing a bit of FOMO. Anywho, I do have the Josh Innes Show creator wrapped for 2024. We give this a full breakdown. In a shocking development, the most popular episode of this show involved lots of booze.
The Golden At Bat Rule 03.12.2024 25:06
I grew up loving sports. My passion has waned as I've gotten older. Therefore, outrageous changes to sports don't really bother me. Take for instance the latest idea for MLB....the Golden At Bat Rule. Social media is outraged by this. I love it. Let's break this down.
Fun MNF Game and MVP Odds 03.12.2024 25:50
How much fun was that Monday Night game? As much as I dislike Sean Payton, it's pretty remarkable what he's done with Bo Nix. Is there value on taking a Sean Payton Coach Of The Year Bet? What about a Bo Nix Rookie of the Year bet? Why is Saquon Barkley still way below Josh Allen in the MVP race?
NFL Hard Hit Pearl Clutching 02.12.2024 20:48
Azeez Al-Shaair is being destroyed for his crushing hit on Trevor Lawrence. It's football. Football is a dangerous sport. Players will get hurt. I don't know what defensive players are supposed to do. I have a reaction to a pretty solid idea from Rex Ryan.
The Farce Of College Football Rivalries 02.12.2024 19:53
I'm fascinated by the number of phony college players who do dumb shit under the guise of passionate rivalries. Do I really believe that some kid from Michigan really hates Ohio State? No. Why? Everything is about money and branding.
NFL Thanksgiving Weekend Recap 02.12.2024 34:26
Hello friends! I'm back from our Thanksgiving trip to Memphis. We had a nice long weekend of NFL Ball. The Bears really did Eberflus Dirty. I really hate the Chiefs and root for their demise. Are the Eagles now firmly entrenched as a Super Bowl contender? Are the Ravens out of the convo? Why are the Texans so stupid? Also, I breakdown another horrible holiday movie.
Kelce Overkill Has Reached New Heights 27.11.2024 33:47
Well, Jilly and I have been watching shitty Christmas movies and drinking boxed wine. I've got reviews for a few of the movies we've watched. Christmas Karen The Merry Gentlemen Christmas In The Spotlight Hot Frosty The Kelce Mom is in a Christmas movie that debuts this weekend. It will be lovely. Speaking of the Kelce's, Jason's wife now has a podcast. No one asked for it. Yet, here we are. Is it...
Don't Tell Me To Be Happy With 7-5 26.11.2024 25:38
The Chargers, who were on the rise, are now on the decline after losing to the Ravens. I still think the Ravens, Chiefs and Lions are the most viable Super Bowl threats. The Eagles are also in play. Saquon Barkley should be the MVP. Where would the Eagles be without him? I hear people saying that Barkley and Henry prove that the running back has been unfairly devalued. I disagree. Most running bac...
Listener Emails and Inspiration 26.11.2024 27:56
I'm inspired after listening to podcasts about pit masters. I've got some very nice emails from listeners. This leads me to a discussion about life and taking chances. Why am I afraid to take chances? Why are people in general afraid to take chances.
Eagles Win..Are They A Real Contender? 25.11.2024 43:14
The Eagles easily handled the Rams on Sunday Night. I think it's time to put the Eagles into the class of teams that can win it all. Is Saquon Barkley a legit threat to win MVP? His odds are +270 to win it. Is this a good bet? The Texans are not close to being a contender. We look at the weekend in college football.
Texans Lose and Other NFL Musings 25.11.2024 36:08
Well, the Texans continue to be wildly inconsistent. How the hell does this team continue to commit so many penalties? The coaching is a major issue at this point. That said, we got to see a few solid games this weekend. My Prop Til' You Drop picks were on freaking point.
Prop Til' You Drop Week 12 23.11.2024 33:04
Hey Kids! It's Friday and we are drinking wine! We watched a terrible Netflix Christmas movie called "Hot Frosty". I start to laugh uncontrollably. Perhaps because of the gummies. We've got some solid Week 12 prop bets for you.
Jameis Is A Hoot/Jilly Has A Job Idea For Me 22.11.2024 45:57
The Browns beat the Steelers in the snow. Jameis Winston continues to bring me joy. Can the Texans climb to the 3 seed in the AFC? Jilly has found the perfect job for me...according to her. We are going to Memphis for Thanksgiving. My dad wants us to eat the fancy Thanksgiving lunch at the Peabody Hotel. Speaking of my dad, he has gone to the ER twice this week for anxiety and kidney stones. We ha...
Point Shaving In College Basketball 21.11.2024 20:19
Well, Hysier Miller, formerly of the Temple Owls Basketball Team, is under federal investigation for shaving points. Essentially, this dude is alleged to have bet on games in which he played. The story is somewhat interesting. I am shocked this doesn't happen more often. It probably does. We just don't hear about it. In the coming years, I think this will be a larger issue. Also, I throw out some...
What Is Out There For Us? 21.11.2024 28:32
Listener Louie send me a nice email about how much he's always enjoyed my shows. I don't know how, but this leads me down a road of introspection. What do I want to do? Who am I? Why do I feel like I have to be something different for everyone else? This leads to a discussion about radio. What is out there for me? While it may seem absurd, I think many of you can relate to this sort of inner turmo...
CFP and Coach Prime To The NFL 21.11.2024 28:34
I really dislike the College Football Playoff TV Show. I know it's made for tv, but people care too much about this bracket. Nothing is close to being determined. I've actually grown fond of Coach Prime. Could he be a successful NFL coach? I'd like to see him try in New Orleans.
Sex Sent Me To The ER Watch Along 20.11.2024 36:49
So Jilly and I intended to do a pod about sports or an actual topic. Somehow, we got caught up watching an episode of "Sex Sent Me To The ER". So this entire episode is a breakdown of this decade old episode of this weird show. Well, and discussion about gross things listeners have told me on the air about sexual injuries. Oh and and old lady who flashed her boobs at a broadcast.
Obnoxious People At The Cinema 20.11.2024 27:35
It's Tuesday so that means "Movie and Mexican Night"! We saw "A Real Pain". It was fine. Speaking of a real pain, St. Louis has the absolute worst movie patrons. Tonight we experienced some real talkative idiots.
Was Tyson/Paul Fight Scripted? 19.11.2024 26:19
I love a good conspiracy theory. Many people believe the Mike Tyson/Jake Paul fight was fixed. Now, I don't know that it was actually fixed. However, I do think the outcome was predetermined. But, if the fight was actually staged or scripted, wouldn't they have made it for more entertaining? People are worried that Netflix is going to ruin Monday Night Raw. Will Netflix figure things out before th...
Texans Blast Cowboys and Coaches I Hate 19.11.2024 38:00
The Texans beat the hell out of the Cowboys. It was nice to see them actually win big. Did we learn anything from this game? Also, it's crazy to think the the next month and a half of football means very little to the Texans in terms of the playoff picture. We take an early look at the week 12 lines. When I was drunk on Sunday, I made a list of NFL Head Coaches that I hate. I don't remember doing...
Rest In Power Minute Maid Park 18.11.2024 29:54
Minute Maid Park is no more. Houstonians will now spend ridiculous amounts of money for beer and sodie pop at Daikin Park. Some fans are irrationally angry over this. It really doesn't matter. It's not like the name has any significance for Houston. It's just money. I take a ballpark name quiz.
Sunday Night Drunken Recap 18.11.2024 38:46
Well, it's been a football Sunday of drinking beer and losing bets. We break down all the games. Does it matter that the Chiefs lost? Are the Steelers contenders? Are the Ravens actually good? So many talking points from this Sunday.
Prop Til' You Drop Week 11 16.11.2024 45:36
We've got your NFL Week 11 Prop Bets hot to go. I've got a few plays this week that I LOVE. Enjoy. Plus, we tell you which teams are winning this weekend.
Tyson/Paul Fight and Eagles Win 15.11.2024 30:46
Hello Friends! It's fight night! I don't know why I'm so excited about this Mike Tyson/Jake Paul fight. I think it's because it brings me back to my childhood. You know, back when heavyweight fights meant something. The Eagles won last night. I told you to take Barkley for a shit ton of yards...I hope you did. Are the Eagles a contender?
