We are pretty much stuck in the house due to this stupid winter storm. We are drinking beer and watching football. Most of my early bets went belly up. For whatever reason, I'm super pissed the Saints lost and I really, really hate Mike Evans.

The midwest is about to be pelted by Winter Storm Blair. Now, I have no idea how bad things will be in STL. But, the forecast is calling for lots of ice and snow and possible power outages. We are probably going to be trapped in our house for at least Sunday...maybe longer. So, we will document the whole thing .

Ross is officially in for Dog Training! This guy is wild. But, he's getting me lots of exercise. The Bears/Seahawks game was dreadful and a total bloodbath for me. I've got a few prop bets for you guys to play on Saturday. It's not an official prop til' you drop, but this is a strange week. The Seahawks have a wacky scenario that could see them winning the NFC West on the 5th Tiebreaker.

There is an industry website that focuses on media. For the most part, the stories written are pointless. Today I saw a preposterous headline and felt it required a podcast episode to fully break it down. The Headline: "The 3 Qualities That Joe Rogan Used To Dethrone Howard Stern As The King Of All Media" The premise is dumb.

The Texans got pulverized by the Ravens and have given fans zero reason to believe they can compete in the post season. If the Steelers and Texans play at NRG, the Steelers have to feel pretty good. They suck, but NRG is the easiest road stadium to play. There are no positive vibes around the Texans. This is a lost season.

I don't know how I ended up going to down the radio wormhole again, but here I am I was on a major Butt Rock kick on Christmas Eve. I still believe Classic Rock radio needs to evolve and play more of this music. Somehow I end up discussing great disc jockey's and why the profession used to require great skill. But, currently it requires next to no talent to be a DJ.

Oh I'm super worked up about something I read today. One of these radio industry websites was ripping radio companies for firing people around Christmas. Who the hell cares if people are fired at Christmas time? So if you're fired in June are you just a piece of shit? Also, I enjoy how these sites pick and choose which fired shows they'll say good things about.

So the Texans lost to the Chiefs. That's not a huge shock. We didn't learn anything about them. Tank Dell is out for the year. Did anyone else think it was strange that CJ never recovered from Tank's injury? Moving forward, would it benefit the Texans to lose Wednesdays game?

Boy oh Boy it's College Football Playoff Weekend! We take a look at all the matchups. For the most part, I see the favorites advancing. But, I've got one relatively large upset that I am taking. I'm either gonna look like a genius or a complete moron. Plus, Jilly offers some thoughts on the differences between Ross and Luther. Are we better equipped to be dog parents than we were 12 years ago?
