I was reading a USA Today story about James Franklin. The author feels like college coaches shouldn't get guaranteed deals because coaches are getting paid for failure. What a misguided, idiotic view.

My buddy texted me yesterday saying the Lions aren't good because they haven't beaten any good teams. I find this absurd because by that logic, no one is actually good. Which teams are good? Let's take a look.

The day to day payout breakdown James Franklin will receive is truly incredible. Why is Matt Rhule such a hot commodity? Why are more people not appalled by the money schools are paying to buyout coaches?

Jerry Jones and Jonathan Gannon both received hefty fines for their actions over the weekend. Jerry Jones flipped off some fans. Gannon pushed a player. The Gannon angle is a great overreaction.

I'm seeing stories about how people are afraid to be critical of the new Taylor Swift album. Back in my day, you could love a band or artist and still be critical when new music sucked. Why is this no longer the case?

Rush is back. I don't really care because I'm not a huge Rush fan. I don't view them as a band I need to see before I die. But, I do have a few that would go on that list...what about you?

I was reading a story about how the new NBA on NBC will rely on nostalgia and innovation. Well, let's read about these innovations... Also, I find it funny that CBS, who used to carry the major SEC Game of the Week, is now carrying Indiana football games.

First off, and I know this is dickish, but I enjoy when Philly teams lose. I have nothing against them. I don't hate the fans. I just like when people who are super passionate about something get burned. It's like when the dude who wants to be valedictorian gets a C on a paper. Also, people are finally starting to call out Bryce Harper for being a panderer.
