Ps Ashley opens with some fascinating stories of how he came to be a Christian, including ministering in 108 countries across the whole world and including Bundaberg. He then describes what it means to be Quickened By The Holy Spirit and how we all need that. He describes Why that needs to occur and How it can be brought about. We all need this!

Ps Jonno uses the friendship story of David and Jonathan to describe their great commitment to one another. He cleverly creates an acronym of BFF to describe 3 important aspects that help us form and grow binding friendships.

Ps Adam reminds us that there were certainly many Strange things Jesus did while He was here: riding on a donkey, washing His disciples' feet, saying that the greatest must be a servant ..... He then discusses how us Christians should also be Strange today.

Who is God and why would He want a relationship with each of us? Using many scriptures, Ps Adam thoroughly answers this question! God is amazing and, when we become fully aware of this and get to know Him, we will all want that relationship with Him.

Ps Adam discusses various monuments to famous people. He then gets more serious when he discusses the Tower of Babel! He then compares it to Joshua's monument that glorified God. What monuments shall we leave for future generations? Ps Adam has all the scriptures to assist us with that.

Pentecost Sunday. Ps Joey reminds us that the disciples were praying in the Upper Room when the Holy Spirit fell upon them all, and they were filled with His Spirit. The Christian Church began! Ps Adam describes the benefits of our annual Love and Legacy appeal for those in the future. He then goes through the main events of Jacob's life. With love, Jacob ended those by digging a well for his community. Many decades later, his well caused a whole village to have a supernatural move. How? (We can do that, too!)

Happy Mothers Day. Today Ps Joey chairs a selection of 4 mothers to see how their mothering lives are going. We have an age range from young mothers with preschool toddlers to a grandmother. Mothers ..... Please listen, as you are guaranteed to learn much from these women.

Ps Joey is away at a Women's Conference in Brisbane. Ps Adam describes how he feels while she's away. Listen to this!  It's how God feels when we're away! Ps Adam then examines the Song of Solomon - a (hot) Love Song between a King and his Bride. That is also an allegory of us! Don't miss this one. It's mighty.

Ps Adam immediately opens with Genesis 1:1! What happens if we don't obey? Ps Adam presents some vivid Biblical examples. They can realistically be aligned with our own lives. He discusses 4 reasons which can cause us to not obey and how we can deal with them.

This week we continue with this challenging series of Carrying the Cross. Ps Adam reads some scriptures and then relates the story of how the Lord called Jeremiah to be a prophet and speak to the evil going on in his day. That was his cross to bear. How did he go? Ps Joey passionately confronts us all today! Are we just Sunday Christians? What does it mean to "Carry the Cross"? Ps Joey provides many Scriptures to encourage and assist us in going deeper with Jesus and moving forward in our lives.

Ps Adam begins the Easter story by listing all the many people who were involved in one way or another with the Resurrection story. He suggests, "We often see ourselves among them". At the end, he asks, "Where are you in this story?" That will be the most important question of your life! Your answer?

Ps Adam reads from several Old Testament passages that prophesied the coming of Jesus and His purpose. He then reads from the New Testament. It is astonishing as to just how accurate those prophecies were! He then uses 3 points to emphasise what they all mean for us and our lives.

Ps Jono begins with describing a situation that was statistically so improbable that it had to be a miracle. He then points out that we all know much about the Cross and the Resurrection, but what about the intervening time? Using 3 points, he shows us that there were several aspects that were so improbable that they were also miracles. 

Our guest speaker today is Ps Renee Bennett, who is a senior pastor of Public Church (Gold Coast & Brisbane), and National Director of Youth Alive Australia. Using scriptures, she describes all the physical atrocities that the Apostle Paul had to suffer. But he did not allow them to stop him from doing everything for Christ. Ps Joey describes rooms in the first Tabernacle: the Outer Court, the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies, cut off by The Veil. God Himself lived there but we were all separated from him. Once a year, the High Priest entered The Veil to use blood to cleanse the sins of the Israelites. Using 4 points, she shows us the difference today. It's GOOD NEWS!

Ps Adam reads us a sad story of a man who had no eyes. He once had a calling from God. How did he get that way? Ps Adam leads us through that. Reading from the story of Sampson, and using three points, he shows us how we can lose God's calling that we each have on our lives. And how to keep it.

Ps Adam reminds us of the early 90s craze of Magic Eye - stare at a picture of multiple colours and they convert into 3D picture! What are we focusing on? What in life holds our attention? Ps Adam uses 3 points and many scriptures to help us get the right focus in our lives.

Ps Jono begins with a primary school anecdote in which embarrassment was turned to victory because he learned to Run the Race! He leads into reading Hebrews 12:1, which is the theme today. He elaborates with three points to help us Run the Race before Us. He discusses several things that can prevent us from doing this.

Today is Vision Sunday. Together, Ps Adam and Ps Joey outline the Vision for Alive Church for 2026. We hear about numerous new outreaches to the local community, as well as building up those in our church. This is a mighty program ..... and needs our cooperation.

After introducing this topic, Ps Adam then proceeds to the question that we may have all thought, any number of times: "Am I enough?" Comparing ourselves with Christians who we think are better than us? Ps Adam checks with many scriptures to answer this question.

Ps Adam introduces anointing to us. It means to set apart and appoint someone for a purpose. Who qualifies for that? What is the purpose? Ps Adam has all the answers and they are from the scriptures. You won't want to miss out on this one!

Ps Joey brings some rocks out to illustrate that, yes, we do tend to throw stones. These stones can be judgment, condemnation, and more. Ps Joey elaborates on these and uses scriptures to show how Mercy interrupts these stones. When we throw stones, people get hurt!

Ps Adam introduces our New Year by saying "New Year, New Mercies". He relates some of his failings in 2025 and how he will Resolve to be better in 2026 - under God's mercies. He defines 'Resolve' and then presents, in detail, 3 points with scriptures to assist us to hold onto our Resolve in 2026. God knows.
