We fall back to all sorts of things when we are in need: alcohol, activities, relationships, and even religion. What if we could find everything we need in God's word? After all, He is the only one who has the words of eternal life. alexsbc.church

John 3:16 is the most popular verse in John's Gospel. It shows us that Jesus didn't come to condemn but save. We are told Jesus is saving the whole world, not destroying it. Those who don't believe have already been condemned, that part of God's work is done. Now, there is salvation for all who look to Jesus. alexsbc.church

The shortfalls of our sacraments, how impossible it is to see our way to Heaven, and dragons in the Bible... John 3 says a lot. alexsbc.church

You can't see the kingdom of heaven, Jesus said, unless you are born again of the Spirit. If we can't see it, we can't determine how to get there. How can we know about it if we can't see it? There is only one way, and it doesn't depend on our religion. The Spirit must cause us to be born in a way that is not of the flesh. alexsbc.church

In John's Gospel, Jesus referred to Himself as the Temple predicted to be destroyed and rebuilt. He would do this in three days. What does it mean that Jesus is our true Temple? alexsbc.church

With all the noise trying to manipulate us into converting to different religions and join certain churches, it's important to know what the Bible says simply. Jesus hated it when people used religion to gain for themselves. He still hates that today. alexsbc.church

It wasn't Jesus's time, yet He turned water to wine. It was real wine, and such a miracle increased His disciples' faith. alexsbc.church

On Palm Sunday, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey's colt, fulfilling Zechariah's prophecy. What does that prophecy mean for us today? alexsbc.church

John the Baptizer referenced Isaiah 40--a passage that promised the messiah would end all war by removing Israel's iniquity. alexsbc.church

When John started his gospel, he started in the beginning. When he presented the gospel, it was directly from the Old Testament. The religion of the New Testament is that Old Time Religion of the Old Testament. alexsbc.church
