Happy hour this week is with Jason Voogt; co-owner of Field-2-Field Agronomy, a crop consulting business serving south central Manitoba. We share a very similar cropping rotation with Jason and get into some great discussion about the upcoming season and what we are anticipating. Lots of great information and a few laughs in this one!

Happy hour this week was spent with Dave Franzen, NDSU's extension soil scientist. He has personally been involved with revising and updating fertility recommendations for North Dakota crops since the early 90's. He has a passion for soil fertility and in our interview we talk some on where Dave started with his career then cover soil amendments, biologicals, and fertilizers.

Jason and Kyle talk through their thoughts about weed management during a dry start to the season. They share experiences and give some pointers that they've experienced during dry weather and weed control. Carryover, reachback, pre's during dry weather are topics discussed.  The brew talk was recorded in person at Souris River Brewing in Minot, ND.
