Does the old school metal scene and music industry in general simply have to accept the dumbing down of the scene through the influx of content creating gimmick bands or is it possible to resist? As it's clear that within an ageing scene there needs to be new blood right? Yet the new bands who uphold the old school values and worship the riff! are fewer and further between and certainly and sadly...
