Advice Accreditation Bureau

Comedy EN ↓ 23 episodes

Everybody has advice. Not all of it is good. So comedian Andy Procopis created Advice Accreditation Bureau — a fake government department reviewing the modern life advice flooding your feed. Each episode, Andy sits down with a funny yet unqualified guest to examine popular self-help tips, life advice, and personal rules. Every case ends with a verdict: Accredited or Revoked , despite no one in the room being remotely qualified to decide.

"Nepo Wiggles" (w/ Freya Morton) 29.06.2026

This week, I’m joined by my favourite (not one of) crowd work comedians, Freya Morton. Freya and I catch up about what’s been going on since she moved to Melbourne and found love. We talk about the responsibilities of cat-sitting, the importance of sunscreen, and how difficult it is to make friends as an adult. Freya thinks she should be able to wake up whenever she wants and explains who is who i...

This week, I’m joined by model and presenter, Christian Wilkins. Christian and I talk about what the "most delicious" role to be in the family dynamic would be, how our love of the pop girlies is only matched by the love we have for our brothers, and how ‘ambition’ has become a bad word. Christian gives advice around embracing your imperfections, and why we shouldn't "play it cool", and listener M...

"Friend or Friendly?" (w/ AJ Lamarque) 15.06.2026

AJ and I discuss gay cruises, the types of passengers to look of for on planes, and carving a different and interesting path in the comedy circuit. AJ pitches his “Pool Theory” when it comes to how to spend your time and gives his two cents to a listener who has busted a friend on Grindr. I reveal my t...

"My Grandfather, Avril Lavigne" (w/ Sam Wade) 08.06.2026

This week, I’m joined by comedian and girl dad, Sam Wade. Sam talks about his disdain for dancing, his love of mosasaurs, and flirts a little with me and my beautiful eyelashes. I share the tips and tricks from years of management training and while learning that I shouldn’t be a martyr and that my tight jaw is not just a disadvantage as a gay man, but could be a sign of neurodivergence. It’s a go...

"Progressive Ghosts" (w/ Jess Fuchs) 01.06.2026

This week, I’m joined by comedian, MC and queer ally, Jess Fuchs. We talk thrifting, Buddhism, and how the worst things to happen to you can be the funniest. Jess tries to convince me that doing things out of vengeance can be positive and that fluro green is a non-binary colour. I share my hot take on Yochi and ponder whether or not I’m a gym bro. It’s such a fun episode, one that Jess puts her bo...

"Obama did WHAT?" (w/ Pete Deppeler) 25.05.2026

This week I’m joined by my friend, former colleague and famous radio intern, Pete Deppeler. We talk about all things radio; the lengths he went to get interviews with the Modern Family cast, how he didn’t pay for flights for ten years, and his switch from The Kyle & Jackie O Show and KIIS to his new home on The Christian O’Connell Show. Pete tries to pillage my data and persuade me to charge f...

"Trust Your Body, Trust Your Soul" (w/ Jarryd Prain) 18.05.2026

This week, I'm joined by 2023 RAW National finalist, Jarryd Prain. We talk about what Nicole Scherzinger is best known for, the worst case scenario when asking someone out, and determine when is the best time for butt stuff. Jarryd reveals that he loved the Pink Power Ranger and that he wants to go on MAFS while I’m stuck reminiscing about The Thundercats and confessing I identify with Lisa Simpso...

"Chanel No. 5" (w/ Nick White) 11.05.2026

This week, I’m joined by the talented Mr Nick White. We talk skin care routines, Australian Idol reunions, and the strategic use of thirst traps to sell stuff. Nick tells us how Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes makes him think and helps a listener Nina with some advice after she heard too much. While I, with my full head of hair, start to question if I should start catching Didis, and if Zoë Kravitz is a vam...

"The Curse of The Optimist" (w/ Sam Bowden) 27.04.2026

This week I'm joined by comedian, writer, and my favourite type of historian, Sam Bowden. Sam's show, "don't panic! (it's happened before)" is all about the cyclical nature of the events in history and one of my favourite comedy shows. We talk personal growth, the game of life, and Brisbane high schools. Sam talks about how a haunted house taught him the importance of where you live and I reveal w...

We also both agree in the importance of naps under the covers and that having your friends and loved ones on Find My is handy, not intrusive. So grab the poppers from the fridge and ge...

This week, I'm joined by the wonderful comedian, writer and producer, Brendan Hancock. We talk pool parties, Sex and the City, and geopolitics in the Middle East. Brendan reveals he wasn't a child piano prodigy, he's not in crisis, and that he likes to crack jokes during sex. While I flex my power at the Bureau and my ability to recall the iMDB history of Australia's own Murray Bartlett. We then g...

"The Hans Gruber Thing" (w/ Anthony Locascio) 30.03.2026

This week, I have a very funny and meaningful chat with comedian, Anthony Locascio. We talk about Anthony’s time at a silent “course”,  review my wog credentials, and share our very different core memories about the Home of the Arts (HOTA) on the Gold Coast. If you're a comedian, live in Adelaide, or someone who does or doesn't wear deoderant, there is something in here for you. You can catch Anth...

"Queen of the Nasdaq" (w/ John Glover) 23.03.2026

This week, I have a rambunctious chat with John Glover. Do not be fooled by the title of this episode... this is not a finance podcast. We have both splurged on Invisalign. Besides spruiking dental boutiques and forcing me to look at his wet teeth, John challenges the motives of those you work with and draconian driving laws. I out myself as driving automatic and prove to be combative, singlet-wea...

"In The Name Of Femininity" (w/ Guneet Kaur) 16.03.2026

This week, I'm joined by Guneet Kaur. Guneet is a fantastic comedian and MC who never bombs, and if you've heard otherwise, you've heard wrong. "The Carly Rae Jepsen Cinematic Universe" (w/ Kevin Han) 16.02.2026

It's the new Lunar New Year... or is it? To help me celebrate is Kevin Han. Not because he's Extremely Tall and Incredibly Chinese (the name of his 2025 MICF show) but because he has great taste in music. We make jovial small talk about light hearted topics like drugs, religion, and recreational schizophrenia, before embarking on a deep sea dive into a much more serious topic... Carly Rae Jepsen....

"Straight People Are In Crisis" (w/ Jake Howie) 09.02.2026

The virgin flight of Advice Accreditation Bureau is taking off and joining me to serve moist towelettes and laughs is Jake Howie. His show Baddie Burns Bridges is playing at the Factory Theatre in Sydney on February 19, but he's stopped by the Bureau to have a gossip (because that's allowed) and pursue his dreams (because he still has time). Hopefully you will learn something, or laugh at somethin...
