ADAM tells the story of Fritz Adam, a German Jewish entrepreneur and decorated war veteran who owned one of Berlin’s most prestigious department stores. A supporter of the Olympic ideal and sponsor of expeditions, he believed in cooperation through sport and adventure. As Nazism rose, his ideals and family’s future came under threat. Torn between loyalty to Germany and the safety of his loved ones, Fritz faced the ultimate decision: to stay in the country he loved or to leave it behind.
