Abuse Fifty Years Ago Verses Now!

Once upon a time about 50 to 100 years ago there was children who listened to their parents! Sounds like all the families were swell. Usually the mothers were all homemakers and they keep the house clean and a pie cooking for dessert. Children trusted and respected parents and most adults actually. It’s a true story and I am not lying, but those children were also afraid of getting into trouble. At public schools in the 1950’s they didn’t expel the student. That would be a vacation, but instead if they were bad at school, they had what was called, “the strap.” The principal didn’t phone the parents ahead, instead the defiant child was told to hold out there wrist and while the student was shaking, they got whipped with this piece of leather that may have had holes in it. Children were usually so scared if they got the strap, that there parents would find out. If there parents found out then the child would most likely get a spanking and get grounded. Also made to do house chores.
