We may have fallen, but we need to remember that his righteousness and our belief requires us to reorient our steps to align with His. This acknowledges God's direction for our lives and is how we step in the right direction.

As we close out this year and as we enter the new year, let's commit to reflecting on the past with honesty and gratitude, maintaining constant heartfelt communication with Him and anchoring our expectations in God's promise.

Chaos. Christmas Chaos. Is it just me, or is this time of the year more hectic than it should be? After all, Jesus did come to bring peace on earth. But as we read the Christmas story, we find there is chaos there, too. The good news is that Jesus was, is and always will be, the calm in the chaos.

What do we do in times of waiting? Times when we need God to show up. Times when things seem hopeless. Today we will meet a man named Simeon in Luke 2. From Simeon we learn how to posture ourselves when waiting. We will find that hope is restored when we start expecting Jesus to show up.

We are in a spiritual battle for the ages. As we have studied over the last 12 weeks, we must engage in the fight so that we can live our lives in victory. Today, we look at what will happen when the enemy is finally finished off and what we can do in the meantime.

The Holy Spirit empowers us to extend to everyone, everywhere, and flows from our encounter with the Living God.

We are together on a mission to be a lighthouse in this region. The roadmap God has given us is to Encounter, Engage, and Extend. Today, we will learn about the importance of Encountering God in our lives. Without the encounter, we have nothing more than dead religion. But with it, we cultivate an abundant life with our creator.
