Colossians 1 lifts our eyes to Christ — the image of the invisible God, the One in whom all things hold together. He is before all things, above all things, and enough for all things. We rest in the truth that Christ is all. When everything else fades, we can still say, “All I have is Christ.” Give me Jesus — He is my hope, my peace, and my life.

In Psalm 51, David cries, “Have mercy on me, O God,” trusting not in himself, but in God’s steadfast love. In Matthew 5:7, Jesus says, “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” We rest in the mercy we have been shown — a mercy that forgives, restores, and reshapes our hearts — and we learn to let that mercy flow through us to others.

In Psalm 63, David cries, “My soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land.” In Psalm 90, Moses prays, “Satisfy us in the morning with your faithful love.” Both prayers meet at the same place — a deep longing that only God Himself can fill.

As we abide in Christ, we fix our hearts on the love that first loved us. Through worship, prayer, and Scripture, we remember where our hope and security are found.

To abide in Christ is to remain rooted in truth. Through worship, prayer, and Scripture, we confess our faith and boldly declare “I Believe”—standing firm in the gospel.

Psalm 145 overflows with praise to Yahweh the Lord, the God whose greatness is unsearchable and whose mercy is near to all who call on Him. He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, faithful in every word, lifting those who fall and satisfying every living thing. From generation to generation, His name is blessed—Yahweh the Lord, the hope and joy this song sings.

Ephesians 2 tells the turning point of every believer: we were dead in sin, carrying the weight of our brokenness, oh but God was rich in mercy. His great love made us alive with Christ, raised us from the dust, and brought us near when we were far away. Grace rewrote the story, and the death of Jesus conquers sin and death—exactly the hope this song sings.

This week, we abide in Scripture, worship, and prayer, reflecting on Psalm 8 and the wonder of God’s creation. As we sing “How Great Thou Art,” we pause to marvel at His glory and His care for us, letting our hearts rest in Him.
