A Side/B Side Podcast

This episode is an Adam solo experience focusing on Killer Clowns, both the fictional and true crime variety.

B Side (Brooke): This week we discuss the mysterious survival story of Ricky Megee after 71 days in the Australian outback. A Side (Adam): This week Adam dives into the history of Alan Ruck, another "That Guy from That Show."

A Side (Adam): The Fourth of July was a big anniversary in music history, 25 years ago the Foo Fighters debut album was released. This week Adam dives into the creation of the band and it's fouder, Dave Grohl. B Side (Brooke): In what is probably one of the oldest cold cases solved by DNA evidence after 65 years, the "lovers lane" murders are put to rest.

B Side (Brooke): This week the resurfaced story of the attempted murder-suicide of the Brown family in Poolville, Texas. A Side (Adam): This week while sitting around a bonfire and chatting with his family, Adam came up with this week's A Side.

A Side (Adam): A TV binge session helped Adam discover this week's "That Guy From That Show," Eric Avari. B Side (Brooke): This week we change gears in our crimes, this week we discuss the fraudulent lottery lawyer, Jason Kurland.

B: Side (Brooke): This week, we do a quick discussion about a case that was cold for almost 40 years. A Side (Adam): This week Adam does another "That Guy From That Show," Matthew Macfayden.

A Side (Adam): This week Adam was binging one show on Amazon FreeVee when another show was recommended to him, "Almost Paradise." B Side (Brooke): This week we take a look at a popular case that is all over the internet, the twisty-turny, is it murder or suicide, is is real or false, story of Ronald Opus.

B Side (Brooke): This week, the parole hearing of Judith Neelley sparked the B Side discussion about her murderous spree with her true partner in crime, her husband, Alvin Neelley. A Side (Adam): This week while Adam is on vacation and was mowing lawn, it sparked his idea for the A Side.

A Side (Adam): Adam is back this week, and a local closed department store's sale got him going down the department store rabbit hole and landing on "Mannequin." B Side (Brooke): This week we discussed the mystery in Room 348. Greg Fleniken was minding his own business when he ended up dead, but how?

B Side (Brooke): This week we discussed the recent, breaking news about Kouri Richins, a best-selling children's author, who wrote a book about coping with death for her children, was arrested for murder. *I reference fentanyl but it was propofol aka "The MJ stuff that I had during my surgery." A Side (Adam): With the Kentucky Derby on so many people's minds, including Adam, it got him to thinking about horse racing movies. B Side (Brooke): This week's B Side has a very "unique" distinction of being the third person in U.S. executed by firing squad since the reinstatement of the death penalty in 1976, Ronnie Lee Gardner.

B Side (Brooke): This week's B Side discusses the last person executed in the State of Maryland, Wesley Baker. A Side (Adam): This week's A Side, Adam discusses a movie that for only the second time in A Side's history, he will NOT recommend watching.

A Side (Adam): This week's A Side, Adam tackles Dungeons & Dragon's, Writer & Director (a former actor) John Francis Daley. (One of the more popular roles was Lance Sweets on "Bones") B Side (Brooke): This week's B Side, we talk about Wanda Jean Allen, the first black female to executed in the U.S. since 1954.

B Side (Brooke): This week we discuss the "Friend Murderers," and the horrendous murder of Chester Poage. A Side (Adam): Adam went to his son's track meet at his old alma mater and it got him to thinking about race movies, one...two in particular.

A Side (Adam): This week's A Sided finds Adam relating to a dad and his teens, but unlike Adam this dad is also fighting aliens. B Side (Brooke): This week we discuss spree killer, Steven Oken. Steven Oken is responsible for death of three woman, along with their sexual assault in 1987.

B Side (Brooke): This week we discussed the "Package Killer," who is responsible for the deaths of at least three women, Gary Muehlberg. A Side (Adam): This week Adam, a massive D&D fan, in anticipation of the new "Dungeons & Dragons" film, discusses the previous incarnation from 2000.

A Side (Adam): This week Adam discusses a movie from the mid 90s that he love and that is one of the worst reviewed movies that we have ever discussed on the podcast. This week we switched things up! B Side (Brooke): This week on the B Side we look at the "Wineville Chicken Coop Murders" committed by 21-year-old Gordon Stewart Northcott. A Side (Adam): With the passing of one the most well-known "that guy from that shows" (one of his characters has the most show crossovers and longest running character) Richard Belzer, Adam tackles the life and career of Richard.

A Side (Adam): This week Adam focuses on everyone favorite Englishman from the 90s and early 00's, and a movie title so long it didn't fit on most marquees. B Side (Brooke):  This week we talk about "The Vampire of Sacramento," Richard Chase, who was a cannibal and necrophiliac. 

B Side (Brooke): This week we explore another female serial killer. Velma Barfield, who has the distinct "honor" of being the first female i  the US to be executed after the reinstatement of the death penalty in 1976. A Side (Adam): Adam delves deep into one of his favorite movies that no one else seems to appreciate besides him, pretty par for the Adam course, lol.

A Side (Adam): This week Adam gives us an update from a previous A Side ( Episo de 53 and Episode 57 ) and talks about a brand new (to him) show. B Side (Brooke): This week we discuss Joseph Edward Duncan and the horrific family murder-kidnapping of the Groene family.

B Side (Brooke): This week, due to illness, Brooke's been watching ALOT of Netflix. So, to steal a page from the A Side, this week's B Side is all about true crime documentaries that you need to watch! A Side (Adam): One of Adam's favorite shows has a crossover episode with its spinoffs and BONUS it includes a "That Guy from That Show."
