A Man Called Stranger

As far as Stranger is concerned there's no more questions to be asked, no more answers to search for, and no more leads to chase. It's all come down to this. The final pieces are all tucked away. The only issue is; they're inside a Mega-Corp Arcology. What's even worse? The crime families are war waging in the streets, EVO Security is trying to protect what's theirs, and Team Tao is rushing to sec...

Whether officially on or off the case, there's no more leads left. Stranger must go to the last person they wanted to, the only one that might have the final answers he needs. But have they finally gotten their answers on the DAMS and new rise in organized crime, or has this just been Another Series of Misunderstandings?

In S.E.T. things get a little tense, a little spooky, and sometimes even a little bloody. Even somewhere in Stranger's very own Vattuck Row a small diner is about to get served. The dish, you ask? Well, everyone from Stranger to Bloody Betty knows, not all the best dish's are served cold.

Injured, tired and betrayed, Stranger inches closer getting his answers (whether he likes them or not), but even then when the job is all but done, can he let it all go? Or has all this really just become some sort of another unfortunate circumstance.

Exhausted as Stranger is, the case keeps swinging and there's always something else to get him running (away). Unfortunately for him, S.E.T. City can really be a mix bag of personalities, and it won't take long for him to discover he's just another wrapped in metal.

Leads and information are beginning to pile up and fall into place for Stranger and the others, but it's still not enough to crack the case, even after cracking a bottle of Recuperating Rum. With more names and places crossed out than expected, it seems everything left leads to one place. Another Town, Undertown.

The final act of Black Collar begins! While Stranger has gotten a few days of rest, there's always another job and another lead to draw him back into the inter-city fighting. So obviously when Marshal puts him on the drug case, Packet Tracer has the perfect idea! A little jaunt into the soulscape for Another Soul Search.

As Stranger's jobs with Mather come to a close, he's left with an unshakable feeling that something is still wrong. Did he get his lizards in a row, or is there still A Person Mistaken?   CW! This episode has a scene with more gorey/body horror sounds than usual (worse than EP5), if you do not wish to hear that, skip from 45:09 to 46:26.

Bundle up and gather around the old hobo fire as it's time for local urban legends with some local denizens of S.E.T. City. And the topic of the night? Well, A certain Man Called Stranger of course. Some say it stalks the night, some say the night stalks it, but regardless of who's right you should always Beware The Stranger.

After a harrowing couple of days, the job isn't nearly closed, Stranger is running out of time (and his good health), but the blows keep coming. Literally, as every step he takes closer to answers only muddies the waters further, and makes A Real Mess of Things. 

Still hot on the case, and trying to chase down whatever is killing it, the Marshal 9 and A Man Called Stranger aren't done yet. All roads have to lead somewhere... and it's going to make A Rumble In Downtown

In S.E.T. you're either untouchable, or unimportant, but there are a few who rise above the muck of the city... a few Dangerous Men.

After a longer-than-anticipated mid-season break, Stranger is back and as much as he'd love to be taking the long road of recovery, today is not that day. For today he'll be doing things a different way. A Marshal's Way.

Shackled, beaten, and forced to endure possibly cruel torture (ads), Stranger is finally poised to get answers, just not the ones he'd prefer. Visions and arcology gunfights aside, he's going to put in as much effort as they're paying him to, even if it's coming with its usual side of caveat. Shoutout to MysteryFrequency and StellarFutureRadio, both shows worth checking out

Still following every lead he can get, Stranger is going from an uncomfortable conversation to sketchy findings with answers still proving to be alluding, but when there are no more cards to play there's always one option left... A little bit of corporate espionage flavored breaking and entering. 

On the job and hunting for information, Stranger delves into the East-Side Boroughs in search of a lead that'll help clear all this up, maybe even wrap it in a nice bundle. Unfortunately for him, it's never quite as simple as he'd like.

With decisions already made, wounds almost healed, and still plagued by his shattered mind, Stranger has a new job on the horizon. One that's hopefully simple this time, as meeting with the Lasher Org. has consequences rearing its head, and others possibly losing theirs.

Getting one step closer to actually seeing an AugDoc, but there's always more to it, and for Stranger it's already too much. Unfortunately for all involved, it's not just him. Many seem to be having problems with, the chrome within.

With the Mathers' job done leaving Stranger (literally) bent out of shape, it's time for him to do something he's been putting off for quite a while; going to a Dr. Unfortunately for him what could have been a normal day quickly begins to go Clinically Insane. In a very soulful kind of way. Pretty crazy huh?

Stranger is hit with new faces, old faces, and in his own face as the pieces of this job start to fall around him. Leaving him with more questions than he prefers, and a concern for his well-being that's setting off alarm bells in his mind and across the city. As another job draws to a close, so does Act 1 of Black Collar.

With the search getting increasingly complicated with every step he takes, Stranger is out of his depth and seeks out help from the denizens of S.E.T, but with the puzzle pieces falling into place, it's not painting the picture he prefers.

While the previous night might have been a bust (through a window), Stranger has a new job that's (hopefully) not a divorce case this time. But between the shady clientele and sketchy job details, unfortunately for Stranger, he's not the only one on the hunt, and he might not actually know what the prey is.
