Today, Pastor Jeff shares that Daniel remained obedient even when it was hard. Daniel 4:19 19 Then Daniel (also called Belteshazzar) was greatly perplexed for a time, and his thoughts terrified him. So the king said, "Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning alarm you." Belteshazzar answered, "My lord, if only the dream applied to your enemies and its meaning to your adversaries!

Today Pastor Jeff shares Daniel's character when he showed humility and gave glory to the God in Heaven for allowing him to do the impossible. Daniel 2:27-28(a) 27 Daniel answered the king, "No wise man, medium, magician, or diviner is able to make known to the king the mystery he asked about. 28 But there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries  

This week, we will start a new series about Bible Characters from the Old Testament. We will learn from Daniel, David, Joseph, Ruth, Noah, and Esther and be encouraged to live by their example.   This week, we will learn more about Daniel and his wisdom.    Daniel 2:16 16 At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him.

Today, in our Golden Rule series, Pastor Jeff reminds us of an essential aspect of forgiveness. In the same way, we repent and ask for forgiveness; we need to forgive others. Mark 11:25 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

Today, Pastor Jeff reminds us once more that when we sin against someone on purpose or accidentally do something that causes them harm, we should apologize and ask for their forgiveness. Proverbs 28:13 13 Anyone who hides their sins doesn't succeed. But anyone who admits their sins and gives them up finds mercy.

We are not perfect, and we all sin. Today, Pastor Jeff encourages us to ask God to forgive our sins. 1 John 1:7 7 If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

Today is the last week of our Golden Rule Series, and Pastor Jeff will talk about Forgiveness. Today, we learn that we want to be people who ask for Forgiveness.   Colossians 3:13 13 Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.  

Today it is FRI-YAY! And shout-out day! Pastor Jeff reminds us that Jesus showed us kindness when we did not deserve it, and He took our place for the sins we committed. Romans 5:8 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

Today, Pastor Jeff shares an amazing truth: When we believe in Jesus and what He did for us, we can ask God to forgive us for our sins, and He will forgive us through Jesus. John 3:17 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

This week, we are learning with Pastor Jeff about the Good News or the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and today's verse sums it up beautifully.  John 3:16 16 "For this is how God loved the world: He gave[a] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."   

This week, we're talking about something Jesus did that was HUGE. It was really the kindest, most loving thing anyone has ever done. Ephesians 2:4-5 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us,[a] 5 made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!

Happy Monday! Pastor Jeff is back, and this is week 6 of our Golden Rule Series. This week, we will learn about the incredible kindness Jesus Christ showed us. Romans 3:23-24 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.  

Happy Valentine's Day! Today is shout-out day, and Mrs. Tobi will share how Zacchaeus showed kindness to others. Luke 19:8 8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."

Today, we learn the parable of the unmerciful servant with Mrs. Tobi. This is not a story that shows how to be kind but warns us to watch how we treat others. Matthew 18:32-33 32 "Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,' he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?'
