So the king said, "Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning alarm you." Belteshazzar answered, "My lord, if only the dream applied to your enemies and its meaning to your adversaries!

Today is FRY-YAY! And shout-out day! If you want Pastor Jeff to shout your name, please email creekkids@sugarcreek.net.  Today is also the last day for our Golden Rule series, and Pastor Jeff shares that our verse today says that when Jesus forgives our sins, our hearts will be clean again. Isaiah 1:18 18 "Come, let's settle this," says the Lord. "Though your sins are scarlet, they will be as whit...

February 27 2025 27.02.2025

Today, in our Golden Rule series, Pastor Jeff reminds us of an essential aspect of forgiveness. In the same way, we repent and ask for forgiveness; we need to forgive others. Mark 11:25 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

February 26 2025 26.02.2025

Today, Pastor Jeff reminds us once more that when we sin against someone on purpose or accidentally do something that causes them harm, we should apologize and ask for their forgiveness. Proverbs 28:13 13 Anyone who hides their sins doesn't succeed. But anyone who admits their sins and gives them up finds mercy.

February 25 2025 25.02.2025

We are not perfect, and we all sin. Today, Pastor Jeff encourages us to ask God to forgive our sins. 1 John 1:7 7 If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

February 24 2025 24.02.2025

Today is the last week of our Golden Rule Series, and Pastor Jeff will talk about Forgiveness. Today, we learn that we want to be people who ask for Forgiveness.   Colossians 3:13 13 Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

February 21 2025 21.02.2025

Today it is FRI-YAY! And shout-out day! Pastor Jeff reminds us that Jesus showed us kindness when we did not deserve it, and He took our place for the sins we committed. Romans 5:8 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

February 20 2025 20.02.2025

Today, Pastor Jeff shares an amazing truth: When we believe in Jesus and what He did for us, we can ask God to forgive us for our sins, and He will forgive us through Jesus. John 3:17 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

February 19 2025 19.02.2025

This week, we are learning with Pastor Jeff about the Good News or the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and today's verse sums it up beautifully.  John 3:16 16 "For this is how God loved the world: He gave[a] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

February 18 2025 18.02.2025

This week, we're talking about something Jesus did that was HUGE. It was really the kindest, most loving thing anyone has ever done. Ephesians 2:4-5 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us,[a] 5 made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!

February 17 2025 17.02.2025

Happy Monday! Pastor Jeff is back, and this is week 6 of our Golden Rule Series. This week, we will learn about the incredible kindness Jesus Christ showed us. Romans 3:23-24 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.

February 14 2025 14.02.2025

Happy Valentine's Day! Today is shout-out day, and Mrs. Tobi will share how Zacchaeus showed kindness to others. Luke 19:8 8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."

February 13 2025 13.02.2025

Today, we learn the parable of the unmerciful servant with Mrs. Tobi. This is not a story that shows how to be kind but warns us to watch how we treat others. Matthew 18:32-33 32 "Then the master called the servant in. 'You wicked servant,' he said, 'I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 Shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?'

February 12 2025 12.02.2025

This week, we are exploring kindness in our Golden Rule series, learning with Mrs. Tobi about a widow who showed kindness to Elijah. 1 Kings 17:13-14 13 And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have said. But first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make something for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, 'The jar of flour sha...

February 11 2025 11.02.2025

Today, we learn with Mrs. Tobi a story of kindness from the Bible, and it is significant because it takes place during Jesus' arrest. Luke 22:49-51 49 And when those who were around him saw what would follow, they said, "Lord, shall we strike with the sword?" 50 And one of them struck the servant[a] of the high priest and cut off his right ear. 51 But Jesus said, "No more of this!" And he touched...

February 10 2025 10.02.2025

Happy Monday! Please join Mrs. Tobi for week 5 of our Golden Rule series. This week is all about kindness! Today's verses come from a story that Jesus taught about kindness: The Good Samaritan. Luke 10:36-37 36 Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?" 37 He said, "The one who showed him mercy." And Jesus said to him, "You go, and do likewi...

February 7 2025 07.02.2025

Today is shoutout day! Join us as we learn the story of Ruth and Naomi with Mrs. Tobi. This Bible story contains love, kindness, hope, and respect. Ruth 1:16-17 16 But Ruth replied: Don't plead with me to abandon you or to return and not follow you. For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. 17 Where you die, I wi...

February 6 2025 06.02.2025

But while the son was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him. 21 The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned ag...

February 5 2025 05.02.2025

Today's story shows us another example of how we obey earthly authorities while honoring God first and foremost. We will learn about Nehemiah with Mrs. Tobi. Nehemiah 2:4-5 4 Then the king asked me, "What is your request?" So I prayed to the God of the heavens 5 and answered the king, "If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor with you, send me to Judah and to the city where my a...

February 4 2025 04.02.2025

Please join Mrs. Tobi today as she helps us understand what we do if authority goes against what God says. This can be seen in the story of Daniel in the Lion's Den. Daniel 6:10 10 When Daniel learned that the document had been signed, he went into his house. The windows in its upstairs room opened toward Jerusalem, and three times a day he got down on his knees, prayed, and gave thanks to his God...

February 3 2025 03.02.2025

This is week 4 out of 7 in our GOLDEN RULE series. This week, we will explore with Mrs. Tobi Bible Stories that teach us about respect. They brought him a denarius.[a] 20 "Whose image and inscription is...

January 30 2025 30.01.2025
