Today we learn that, like Noah, God invites us to step in faith by being kind to someone, sharing the gospel with a friend, or helping even when it is uncomfortable. Genesis 6:22 22 And Noah did this. He did everything that God had commanded him.

Today, Pastor Jeff shares that Noah's story teaches us that paying attention to warnings can save you lots of trouble if you act on it. Hebrews 11:7 (a) 7 By faith Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark to deliver his family.  

Today, we learn with Pastor Jeff how Noah walked faithfully with God. Genesis 6:9 9 This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.  

We are on week 3 of our Bible characters series, and we will learn more about the character of a man named Noah. Today, we learn with Pastor Jeff that Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:5, 8 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become . . . But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

As we learn more about Esther with Pastor Jeff, today we learn how prudent she was in her request to the king and how we can follow her example. Esther 7:3 3 Queen Esther answered, "If I have found favor with you, Your Majesty, and if the king is pleased, spare my life; this is my request. And spare my people; this is my desire.

Today, Pastor Jeff teaches that Esther, like Daniel, did an important thing before taking action: She prayed. Esther 4:16 16 "Go and assemble all the Jews who can be found in Susa and fast for me. Don't eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my female servants will also fast in the same way. After that, I will go to the king even if it is against the law. If I perish, I perish."

Pastor Jeff is sharing about Esther this week, and today, he teaches how she showed wisdom and patience. Esther 5:8 8 If I have found favor in the eyes of the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and perform my request, may the king and Haman come to the banquet I will prepare for them. Tomorrow I will do what the king has asked."
