So it seems souls are real in the B5 world, and there's a whole culture of weird immortals who collect them. But the one visiting Babylon 5 has gone rogue. This one got us all existential.  Podcast socials https://bsky.app/profile/9to5scifipod.bsky.social https://www.youtube.com/@9to5scifipod https://www.tumblr.com/9to5scifipod https://www.tumblr.com/9to5scifipod https://patreon.com/9to5scifi...

Can Odo solve the locked holosuit murder mystery, or is he the culprit? What qualifications does one need to open a school on a space station? And did Dr. Bashir just accidentally create life? It's a lot for one episode and yet they managed to also cram in a whole bushel of misogyny alongside all that plot. This is the first of a series that Sara is making on her main channel. The idea is to make some space away from all the doom to focus on joy. We talk about what joy is to us, its role in resistance and identity, and some of the things that bring us joy. In this episode; the joy of queerness and the joy of trains and travel. Oh, you've got to hold on to what you've got. John is down on his luck, and Aeryn is living on a prayer. Do you think these two will make it or not? Seriously, this is a dark and fascinating episode involving reproductive violence and violence against women.  Aranock joins us to discuss these topics and why Farcape handles them better than most media.  Guest: Aranock Creator: https://www...

Aeryn has been kidnapped, and seemingly no one knows where she's been taken. This leaves John feeling lost, and so he retreats to his room to watch TV. In most shows, that wouldn't make a good episode, but Farscape isn't like most shows. Charley returns to guest for this fascinating breather episode.
