We are halfway through the year and Peter and Autumn have watched a total of 40 films. In this episode we discuss our favorite and least favorite films so far, our best movie theater experience, what we are hoping to watch during the second half of the year and more.

Peter and Autumn are back after a week off from movie watching and podcasting. This week Peter chose a sci-fi film Autumn is shocked he hadn't seen before and Autumn picked a newly released rom com. The media break is mostly a reading update.

Two great movies this week! The first film was a biopic Peter forgot he had been wanting to watch and the second was a rewatch for Autumn that originally taught her what hydroplaning was.

A week in which Peter picked a movie he loved and Autumn hated and Autumn picked a movie that was dumb in a good way.

Action scenes all around this week! Peter and Autumn finally watched The Marvels and were pleasantly surprised and then headed to the theater to see Dune: Part 2 on the big screen.

It's Nicolas Cage week on 50/50 Films! One of these films Peter and Autumn felt very differently about and the other they agreed on entirely.

We are back to our usual routine of each selecting a movie for the week. Peter picked a film that is leaving Netflix soon and he wanted to make sure he watched and Autumn picked a popular film she couldn't believe she hadn't seen yet. The media break does not have a lot of tv in it...but there is a lot of talk about books.

This week we watched two shorter movies (one was literally a short film) and have an extra long media break to catch you up on what you missed when we skipped it last week.

In this episode Peter and Autumn discuss the last two films they watched for the 2024 Oscars season. At the beginning of the episode they discuss May December and Anatomy of a Fall. At the end of the episode they give a recap of their thoughts on the Oscars ceremony.

This week we watched Cinematography nominee, El Conde, and Best Picture nominee, Past Lives. One film got very high ratings by both Peter and Autumn. In the media break Autumn tries a new way of talking about the books she's reading and Peter is just a little bit rude about it.

This week's episode features Best Picture Nomination, Maestro, and Best Actor in a Leading Role Nomination, Rustin. Peter and Autumn discuss the similarities between the films and which one they preferred. And they both finally finished reading somethings this week!

It's Oscars season! We are so excited to be checking Oscar nominated films off of our list for the third year. This week we watched two nominees for Best Animated Feature Film.
