Only found on Hulu as part of Blumhouse's "Into the Dark" full-length feature series, "Pilgrim" is a goofy yet disturbing tale of what happens to a family that is not so thankful for what it has - and somewhat-improbably based on a true story. Nodding heavily to Stranger Things and all the other similar movies we grew up with in the 80s, it took a sharp turn and ended up waaaaay darker than we expected. And kudos for that.

If you learn nothing else about Witchtrap, you must know this: It is NOT a sequel to Witchboard! It just has the same writer, director, actors, poster art, and villain character design. It's super-dumb, but its saving grace is that it also has: Linnea Quigley! Enjoy the episode, you chuckleheads.

This Korean flick involves a father fighting for his daughter's life as the town where he works as a cop becomes overrun by a strange kind of sickness. Universally regarded as fantastic, we look at it from our own unique perspectives and give you our own take.

Pumpkinhead is a morality tale about the nature of vengeance, and (spoiler alert) we basically had nothing but good things to say about it. If you haven't seen it yourself, check it out before you listen to our chat. And no, there's no creature with a pumpkin for a head in it. That would be stupid.

Is it horror? Well, the R-rated "gore version" certainly is, and that's naturally the version we reviewed. But it's also a self-aware screwball comedy that is dated as hell in the most lovely way possible. Have a listen and see if you can log into Shudder or some other streaming service to watch this jaw-droppingly fun film. Then come back here and revisit it with us.

The god-awful yet fun and endearing Pieces even has a few actors we are familiar with, and some truly laugh-out-loud moments along with a moment or two of accidental brilliance. See it with friends, and listen to us pull it apart and put it back together.

As a creature feature with a lot going for it, it's a bit difficult to understand why it wasn't as well received in its day. Listen as we try to answer this question and throw in a few clips of Wilford Brimley's unmistakable voice.

She's not in it much, to be honest, but it was fun discussing this one nonetheless, and her brief performance in it. Hear our balanced take on one of Carpenter's more mainstream yet less successful films.

This is the story of divorce amidst a failing relationship, told with style and high-intensity and a very obtuse plotline. We often didn't know what to make of the goings-on, but we couldn't deny that this film unsettled us both, and that's a good thing. Have a listen.

It's about some demons who wreak havoc in a movie theater and turn the people they kill into demons too in an increasingly madcap manner that is as over-the-top as it is incredibly satisfying. If you're into this sort of thing, anyway.

Both of us read the book this film was based on, so it added another dimension to our discussion about this killer plant thriller in the wilds of Central America.

You also get the screen debut of Daphne Zuniga of "Spaceballs" fame, one of Hollywood's most prolific makeup designers AND one of its most prolific film composers. So as always, we try to appreciate it for what it is, without shying away from laughing at its ineptitude.

This movie adaptation takes the imagery from the book's nightmarish illustrations, and the urban legend tales that spooked us out so much as kids, and combines them into a "kids' horror film" that manages to be the dark, twisted, no-holds-barred kids' horror film that we have often lamented from our childhoods. A pleasant surprise and a fun film to talk about.
