What is the Law of Christ that Paul talks about in Galatians and 1 Corinthians? Is it something new? Is it an expansion on something old? Is it limited only to what is in the New Testament? We look at these options and more as we work on defining what is the law of Christ. 

In this portion of our Bible study on the exiled prophet, Daniel, we explore Daniel 6 where Darius the Mede has taken over Babylon. We find out how the Father preserves Daniel’s life, even from the mouths of lions, because he is faith 

 Continuing our Bible study, we look at Daniel 5, where the exiled prophet reads the writing on the wall. Once again Daniel does what others cannot, and it isn’t good news for King Belshazzar.

What do bread and wine mean in the Bible and what does Yeshua declaring bread and wine to be his body and blood mean for us?  What about the fact that the Torah declares we should not drink blood?  Is communion anti-Torah? 

Some claim that the command to keep the Sabbath is not found in the New Testament. If that’s the case, then we don’t need to honor it at all. But is the claim true? If this is true, does that mean the Father doesn’t want us to rest on the seventh day anymore? 

The Bible tells us that it is the Father’s will for us to give thanks in all circumstances, but how do we do that? How do we overcome the trials and tribulations of life and still have an attitude of gratitude so that we can give honor and thanks to the Creator? 

The exiled prophet, Daniel, encountered many things during his lifetime in Babylon as the king’s advisor. In Daniel 4 he called upon to interpret the meaning of a felled tree. What can we learn in this bible study from the mysterious dream the king had? 

The idea of Caesar’s Messiah, as taught by Joseph Atwill, claims that our Messiah is just a fictional character made up by the New Testament authors. Others claim ancient Rome invented him. We take a brief look at this notion of Caesar’s Messiah and show how easily it’s refuted. 

Just like John questioned Yeshua while he was in prison, and Peter denied Yeshua while Yeshua was facing trial, we will all have times that we question our faith in God

Hebrews 8:13 is sometimes used to say the Mosaic Covenant in obsolete. There’s a lot to review to see if that’s true. Could the New Testament have rendered the Old Testament useless and no longer applicable after all?

In the first part of this teaching we examined things like what a withered fig tree represents, what fruit is, and what it means to cast a mountain into the sea among other things. This time we will focus on the Messiah’s words when he tells us that if we ask, we will receive. 

Deuteronomy 22:13-21 tells about the case of the slandered bride. Some atheists or feminists try to use it to prove the Bible is anti-women or misogynistic. However, further inspection of the Scriptures and historical context may tell us a different story. 

When Messiah cursed the fig tree, it withered. Why? What is the message contained in this miracle? How does the fig tree relate to moving a mountain into the sea with our faith? 

As we continue our Bible study on The Exiled Prophet, Daniel, we look at a story about taking a walk through fire. King Nebuchadnezzar requires false idol worship; if you didn’t then you died by fire. It’s a story to keep in mind when we too face trials in our lives as there are some lessons to be learned here.
