The Mostly Football Show

Week 1 is done, from Australia to the US and we unpack the good the bad and the ugly of the week. Pete, hates football, Matt is cautiously optomistic about the Bears, and KG sounds like a deflating balloon when he talks about the Cowboys. Pete score a small victory reminding Matt about his predictions and our Fantasy is off to a flyer.

Pete's here to give his reaction to the first regular season NFL game held in Australia. He waxes lyrical over 10 minutes on how good the 49ers were and how poor the preparations were for the Rams, and even finds time to take a dig at Netflix. Please enjoy

This week we preview the new season, and take a look at all the games of the opening week of the season. We question the Rams attitude to travel as they play the first ever NFL game in Australia. Matt gives us all the latest news, and we make some bold predictions for the week ahead. Our fantasy team is announced and we realise the the auto draft does a way better job than we ever could. This week we are back to the OG's pouring through the end of pre-season, and all the latest news. We debate about whether its fair or not for Aaron Donald to return to the Rams, will it sideline an upcoming prospect or just make the Rams more dominant, or is he this years Frank Rangnik. One more week to go till the season starts

This week we take a shot at predicting the future. Matt is very pessimistic about his teams chances while Pete goes all in on his team. After some pressing KG shows some positive vibes towards be beloved Cowboys and we take some big swings on stuff that may or may not happen this year.

This week we finalise our preview of the season looking at the NFC South to North. We spend some time looking at our 2 teams the Bears and the Packers, and Matt and Pete are both overly cautious about the season. Pete has a dig a the Vikings and their quarterback options, and we all wish our teams were in the NFC South

This week we head on over to the NFC and preview what is almost certainly the toughest division in the NFL. Matt gets off his fence and makes a bold bold prediction about this seasons Superbowl winners. Pete also brings back a metaphor that he used with the Browns, and KG is surprisingly optimistic about the Cowboys chances

This week Matt and Pete talk through the AFC North and South. For a change we get a decisive Matt, who manages to make an actual prediction. Pete is very scathing of the Browns and their ability to make any decision as well. All the news is covered and we start to look towards the start of pre-season

This week we are joined by New England Chris as we start the first of our preview sessions focussing on the AFC East and West. We do our best to talk up the Raiders chances, and the Jets, Some bold predictions are made and Pete tells Matt to get off the fence and make a decision.

We are back for Season 2 of the show, we wrap up some loose ends with UFL and World Cups finishing. At the time of recording it is 50  days to the start of the NFL season and we focus on the latest news and the excitement building in all our teams. 

Buffalo Chris returns to give us insight into the coming and going in the offseason at that Josh Allen will request a trade. Pete also goes on a long rant about his beloved Giants and we all predict a World Cup Winner

We are back from holidays and lots has happened, we talk about the recent trades and contracts that have been signed. Football is discussed and Pete has a meltdown over players penalty techniques, as well as the performance of his baseball team. And finally we head into the last two weeks of the UFL season, Kerry has to dig deep into his pockets to buy his Dallas Renegades shirt

This Episode is all about Matt and his baseball tour of the states. Pete touches briefly on the UFL, and warms Kerry up about buying a shirt

This week, Matt and Pete are joined by Mukund to give his expert view on the draft and the winners and losers of it. Pete has a go at Matts football team as they fail to stay on mission, and celebrates his own teams promotion. We talk a little about baseball, but its going to be a long long season for one of us.

Episode 25 is upon us and the NFL draft is in the books. Pete and Matt discuss their respective teams and how they think they did, and talk about some of the surprise picks. Matt starts looking into his wallet to see if he can afford a Birmingham Stallions shirt, and we both look forward to big games of football for our teams this weekend, and maybe discuss a couple of sporting brawls.

KG's back for hat trick and helps is all understand why extending your kicker is a really good idea. We discuss UFL as we head to the halfway point of the season and see who is currently in the short buying chair. We touch on the baseball season and where it is heading, and how confident we all are, and Pete tries to stir Matt about losing DJ.

This week Matt is on assignment attending a launch of the new AIHL season with the Sydney Bears. He is abley replaced by Chris, who gives us his view of the Superbowl as a Patriots fan. He is also suckered into our UFL bet and managed not to select the worst of the teams. KG completes two weeks in a row and we briefly discuss the refereeing situation in the NFL and what will clear and obvious mean...

This week the original Dallas Renegade KG returns and updates us on his chicken watching. The UFL season has begun and has been massively underwhelming and we start tracking who is in the shirt buying seat. Baseball season is underway though the Giants are yet to believe that. We also discuss latest thoughts on Baltimore from the anonymous owners

This week we are joined by Gordy and commentator for the Australian Ice Hockey League. He gives us great insight into how Ice Hockey operates withing Australia and a great breakdown of the season ahead. Pete has technical problems so seems quieter than usual but does drag Gordy into our UFL bet. We enjoy the fun of the WBC and quietly start to look forward to the next baseball season

Its the official start of the new NFL year. KG is off watching some chickens and will fill us all in when he returns. Pete and Matt work through the frenetic start to free agency, admiring the teams that are doing something, and hoping that both their teams are quiet achievers. Pete declares the Royals will win the World Baseball Classic and we decline to kick Spurs when they are down

This week it the OG's again, we look at some of the big trades that have already happened prior to the new league year starting. Matt fails to recognise a Taylor Swift joke and we discuss just how poor Tottenham are and even Siri chimes in.

This week we are joined by a special guest who demonstrates he knows way more about College football than any of us will ever know. We dig into the latest mock draft and look forward to the Combine. Winter Olympics is over and normal service can resume in the NHL. The WBC is not one week away and those pesky insurance companies are still not playing ball. and we drag our guest into our UFL bet.

In this weeks show we discuss, the Seahawks sale, and the timing of it, and the latest going on with the Bears stadium and ask Matt can he really support the Gary Bears. We agree to fill our NFL void with the upcoming UFL and pick team to support as well as strike a bet. On a serious not we discuss the state of refereeing across all sports and try and work out why the Winter Olympics is a must wat...

The season finally ends with a whimper as we discuss how easy it was for the Seahawks. KG is back in the medical tent as Pete and Matt marvel over the stats and how Bad Bunny was the second best rusher in the game. Matt does an excellent job as the roving reporter, and we get some excellent comments from our guests. We lament the sacking in the premier league and start to look forward to the baseb...

KG returns to the pod to find that nothings changed. We preview the Super Bowl and mostly talk about the Seahawks. Matt and KG are astounded by Peter's knowledge on Bad Bunny's wrestling career and we announce where we will be watching the Super Bowl. Baseball season is nearly here and Peter comes up with yet another quiz question for Matt.
