GoodTrash GenreCast
A movie analysis show looking at your favorite cult and genre films from across cinema history. Each week, Dustin, Arthur, and Dalton try to apply academic rigor and critical analysis to the films you wouldn’t talk about in a film studies class while having a few laughs along the way. It’s the conversations you have in the lobby of the multiplex with a little more room to breathe, and the occasional footnote. Stay tuned to the feed for bonus episodes on new releases.

We're back fiends and familiars! This week, Schlocktober moves right along into the food court from the pavilion. That's right, we are talking hubs of commercial gathering as we discuss Chopping Mall. Oft mentioned by a dear friend of the show, we finally get this one to the table. Hey! Fiends and familiars, we are gathered here today to discuss the ghost with the most. That's right, the Moving On marathon takes us back to Tim Burton and a movie that, shockingly, has never made it to our analysis table, Beetlejuice. The Michael Keaton classic is a force unto itself. Hello fiends and familiars! The Oops All Marathon Year takes us shuffling off this mortal coil and into the afterlife. We start a new marathon simply called, Moving On. We kick things off this week with a bit of a swing from 1998 entitled What Dreams May Come. This film sits as another in Robin William's run as a more "serious" actor. But, has time been kind or is it all style with no substance? W...

Welcome back ladies and gents to a dangerous episode. Dalton continues to Kill His Darlings in the most violent way possible — by taking them to Basin City. That's right, Dalton's third pick, and something of a cheat, is a trip to Frank Miller's Sin City. The anthology of gritty black-and-white tales called out to a young teen Dalton, but they might have aged like milk. We talk Miller, misogyny, a...

This week, we discuss animation, developme...
