DJ Brains

This wan is bound to leave you shredded after you rocksteadily bebop to the garage n bass sounds. Yeah I'm scraping several barrels here. That's how I roll. Big up B

Guess who's back? That's right - the Marvel Maaaaan. He took his first trip to the brand new Brainz Cave. I had a lot of fun and I hope you do too listening to it. Big up to Marvel for coming now. Always bringing the vibes that bring the five. Safe B https://youtu.be/ciLwd6L-7xk

So I was cocky this episode. I decided I could mix and play Fortnite: Battle Royale at the same time. Spoiler - I couldn't. You can see this ridiculous lack of focus in the YouTube video below. Anyway, this is all about the music, and this episode was not rampin' today, people. Large it up B

Out to Three For Nifty. He decided to come up with the term Vibena in the chat this week. I like it. Drink it down. B

So I'm back from holiday. My tan lasted about 2 days before it faded. So I had to play some heat to try to bring it back. I had 4 weeks of brand new music to choose from. As you can imagine, there was some tough choices to make. What resulted, I hope, is some high calibre riddims for your listening pleasure. I enjoyed putting this together. Hope you like it too. Big up B

Ah 2006. It was a vastly different time in my life. I was renting a room in a house I shared with an Estate Agent and a coke dealer. I was still actually buying vinyl and my only access to CD decks was the shittest peace of "Made for pub" top-loading junk you've ever seen. I set out one day to make a mix with the most dark, random garage I could find. The sole purpose was to put in a shit song I m...

Alright. Your mum loves it. So if it's good enough for her, it's good enough for me. Get some good tunes into your ears. Programming note - no live show on the 16th September 2017 as I will be sunning my white bits. Hoping for a bone-us episode for you. Keep peeled. Big up B

What a gwarn Brainiacs. I write this whilst watching Bruce Forsyth on The Price Is Right. Rest In Peace Brucie. Also, looking back on it now, you were quite creepy. Still, a ledge. Just hope they don't Savile your legacy. Anyway, hope you enjoy the riddims. Maximum. B

So three tunes in, going hard and I shut the place down. No. Literally. The power got tripped in my house and completely killed the show. Anyway, I bounced back as soon as I could and delivered the best show I was capable of. Loads of brand new music and even a small unexpected bonus rinse at the end. Hope you enjoy. G

Can't Pay We'll Take It Away is my favourite trash TV right now. There, I said it. Bang. Oh yeah, I played some garage n bass. It was sick. Big up. B

I'm like totally having a whale of a time and loving life. Not growing up with a dad and that, I've just always craved an alpha male. OH MY GOD WHY DOES SHE MAKE ME SUFFER THIS SHIT. Enjoy the tunes. B

WUDDUP BITCHES! Have some music. Back on Sub. FM TV this week too, so come have a watch if you like. Big up B

Suns out. Guns Out. Garage guns that is. The new lab is looking noice. Check it for yourself in my first Sub. FM TV stream from there. Hope you enjoy this one. B

Morning kiddies! This will get lost in a sea of stuff about Ariana Grande doing one of the most amazing things ever and shooting herself into the stratosphere. But anyway, here's the audio from when I spun some records down on a beach in the middle of Brixton on a rooftop. Enjoy! B

Oh noes. I missed a week. You've had to wait 4 whole weeks for this. 😱😱😱😱😱😱 I'm now moved and broadcasting live from the new Brainz Lab. It's a car crash ATM. It'll be all set up properly soon. Enjoy the beats, bitches. B PS. I did some experiments with live 360 video in the new lab. Check it out:

It is Bank Holiday. I'm off work. I didn't do a show on Saturday. So have some tuna! B

Apparently it's Passover. I know that as an office I urgently needed to deal with this week said they couldn't help me as the whole office buggered off for it. On a related note: I'm actually a fan of Matzos covered in butter. Time for the Brainzmitzvah. L'chaim and shalom, dear ravers. Rabbi Brainz

GOOD NEWS! I'M GIVING UP GARAGE TO PLAY GABBA! APRIL FOOL! HAHAHAHAAAAA!@£!$£%%!% Kill me. B

Happy St Patricks Day to you on this green episode of the Brainz Podcast. Usual drill of banging beats for your lugholes. Have a Guinness for me. Big up B

This episode is dedicated to weird microcultures. Guys - some of you are into some strange shit that I'll never get. Like listening to me. Or watching videos involving asian women and glass coffee tables, or giving your cash to random real women to be treated as a sub. Frankie Boyle once said he can't ejaculate on tour unless he's wrapped a body in clingfilm and kicked it down a lay-by. That's odd...

Happy Over-commercialised-show-affection-even-though-you-hate-each-other day! Okay it was a week ago, but whatevs. Just remember, no one loves you all more than me. Just don't tell the cops. Oh yeah. I played some music. You might like it. Big up. B

My God. I know I get a bit repetitive but WHAT A SHOW. Marvel back for hosting duties. Held it down nicely. Maximum respect to him for coming down. There's not much to say, other than YOU MUST LISTEN TO THIS SET. Big up B

High tech garage espionage this week as we go full Treadstone upgrade, and possibly full retard. Lots of fresh beats for your ears, as well as some Brainz favourites. Keep it simple, Jack. B

Yeah! We're back with the first show of 2017. 2 hours of brand spanking new UK Garage n Bass kicking off this year to an amazing start. If the next 12 months carries on to go this way, shit will be burnt to the ground by July. Keep it lit turnt one hundred emoji cry face B

What a year. It's been 12 months of the whole world suddenly deciding they are connected to every celebrity that dies. We got an orange bollock in the White House. And Garage was FUCKING FIRING. As always, I give you a round-up of some of the greatest tunes from the last year. This set did kind of write itself in many ways, but there was so much more I'd have loved to have added in. So, for you li...
