All humans search for truth using reason. However, to reason effectively, there must first be a foundational cause to seek it. Those who do not walk by the Spirit may find temporary truths, but only the Spirit of God leads to Absolute Truth. Walking by the Spirit like Paul says, your reason and truth are in perfect harmony; without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, it will never be in perfect harmo...

Many of us are familiar with the story of Sodom and Gomorrah—a city destroyed after the outcry of its people reached the Lord’s ears. But Sodom and Gomorrah wasn’t known only for its sexual immorality; in this podcast, we're looking at something deeper. We jump to Second Timothy, where it is written that difficult times will come when people will be lovers of self. Could it be said that today,...

It is a day celebrated by Jews and some Christians. It is a day to remember how God freed the people of Israel from being enslaved for 400 years. • • #Sukkot #Pesach #FaithAndHistory #ExodusStory

Resting is a good thing, but resting too much and being too calm can also be a problem. On the other hand, those who do not rest walk around tense and overly anxious about every move. The balance of which Scripture speaks is perfect. • • #RestAndReflection #BiblicalWisdom #FaithAndBalance #ScriptureStudy

When we do God's good work according to His will, we tend to push ourselves without realizing that ambition kicks in. In those moments, we fail to keep in step with the Holy Spirit and instead move forward rather than remaining present, patient, and obedient to His orders. • • #FaithInAction #GodsWill #HolySpirit #PatienceAndGrace

Paul says that nature itself testifies, yet people would rather worship creation than the Creator. While humans seem to thrive in nature, nature is ultimately just a creation. On Earth, happiness is driven by cause and effect—something happens to make someone happy. What Christ offers, however, is a peace for all circumstances, which is why He speaks of a peace that surpasses all understanding. •...

Should we, as followers of Christ, expect the world to see eye to eye with us? By no means. The world will not be just. Even though there is little justice in earthly laws, injustice will still remain on the earth. True justice comes only from the One who is above it all.

What are you afraid of losing when nothing in this world actually belongs to you?” This quote, said by the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, comes from someone who was not a Christian, yet it holds profound truth. Do we, as believers, prioritize things here on Earth? If so, how can those earthly achievements and possessions remain with us after we die? • • #GrammarCorrection #MarcusAurelius #Stoicism...

Everyone has weaknesses—both those who are of the world and those who abide in Christ. However, for the person who abides in Christ, weakness becomes strength. God is glorified in their weakness because they recognize that all things are possible through Christ, who strengthens them. • • #FaithOverFear #AbideInChrist #GodIsStrength #ChristianInspiration

There are truths that remain eternally fixed. Two ultimate outcomes—how we choose to live this life, or whether we succumb to spiritual death—are set before us. We live in a fallen world bound by physical decay, yet God grants us the free will to choose Him or turn away. In the end, what is destined will come to pass, unfolding entirely according to God’s sovereign will. • • #FaithInGod #GodsWill...

One of the most frequently used passages in the church is Romans 7:24, where Paul cries out, "Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?" But why do so many people misuse it? If a person is not in Christ, then this verse applies to them. However, if you are in Christ, how can you call yourself wretched when Paul immediately answers his own question in Romans 7:2...

In this episode, we dive a little deeper into the topic, picking up right where we left off—this is Part 2 of 'Yearning Aimlessly.' As a quick reminder: when you get married, you don't just marry the flesh. You are marrying the whole person—their attributes, spiritual gifts, and everything else they bring to the table. • • #YearningAimlessly #ChristianPodcast #FaithTalk #PodcastEpisode...

As men and women of God, when we ask Him for something, a common assumption is that we are simply praying for someone who loves God and attends church. While that is true, not every person has the same attributes or spiritual gifts. We must meditate, discern, and ask God according to His will for what we are seeking. Those who are aligned with God will naturally seek after the spiritual things of...

Can the eyes see without you? When you see who is making the choices, is it the flesh or the conscience? Are the mind and the flesh one and the same, or does each have its own role? The flesh wants, but the conscience thinks to make choices—either to resist or to deny. Yet, it is through Christ that we can do all things, for He gives us strength. www.outcastfory.com • • #Faith #ChristianLiving #Wo...

To witness a storm, the ocean, or the wildlife on Earth is deeply moving and majestic. Yet, those very same forces can destroy us in an instant. God’s glory is powerful and awe-inspiring, but also lethal to our mortal bodies so vast that even the angels cover themselves before His radiant presence. www.outcastfory.com • • #ToWitnessNature #OceanLife #WildEarth #MajesticStorms #PowerAndBeauty #Gods...

One can start in doubt and end up discouraged, just as one can start discouraged and end up in doubt. Either way, it is almost as if doubt and discouragement are one and the same, yet they still have their differences. The Word of God says to keep your eyes on the Kingdom of Heaven, and everything else will fall into place. While this is true, the moment those blessings fall into place, we often b...

In this episode, we sit down with a recent high school graduate and future D1 soccer player. He shares openly about his faith, his perspective on his generation, and a major misconception taking hold today: the idea that we can balance our lives by canceling out a bad deed with a good one. The truth is, no amount of good works can save us; on our own, our righteousness is like filthy rags before G...

The things that God plants are organic and pure. They are meant to grow and produce what they were created for. There is the spirit and the flesh. What is of the spirit pleases God, but what is of the flesh is not pleasing to Him. The flesh is the very thing that produces thorns and thistles, which will eventually choke the plant God placed within you. It is not God who does this, but rather those...

Prayer, fasting, and wisdom are essential to your walk with God. Keep all three in harmony, just as the apostles did. They left us a perfect example of how prayer, fasting, and wisdom should play out in our daily faith. However, there will be moments in our walk when one might override the others—and that is exactly where things can go wrong. • • #PrayerLife #FastingAndPrayer #SpiritualWisdom #Wal...

The Lord says “For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return there without saturating the earth and making it germinate and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat, so my word that comes from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.” God’s mission will never stop, for what He says will be done no m...

Do you really think your plans and God’s plan are being mixed together? Or do you really think you can bend your plans into God’s plan? Absolutely not! God is the one who hands out talents and He is the one who gives purpose. We do not give ourselves talents and we do not give ourselves purpose; rather, we seek after His purpose. • • #FaithOverFear #GodsPlan #TrustGod #FaithJourney #PurposeDrivenL...

Godly ambition? The Word of God never speaks of such a thing, but rather tells us to make it our ambition to lead a quiet life. Ambition builds a confidence that relies entirely on whatever that ambition is striving for. But if those things are taken away, where is your confidence then? Our confidence is in Christ. The confidence we have in Christ is because we deny ourselves, take up our cross, a...

Ambition is an action seen everywhere—whether it is the pursuit of money, fame, or glory. It is often considered the key ingredient to reaching one’s goals. But that is the world’s standard, right? What happens when a follower of Christ introduces ambition into their mission for God? Unavoidably, human ambition leads us to turn our backs on God. In Scripture, whenever personal ambition was mixed w...

We often compromise our faith; yet 'compromise' means to weaken, damage, or make something unsafe. Faith in God and the word 'compromise' do not belong together, for faith in God is not meant to be weakened, damaged, or made unsafe. Rather, we make ourselves weak. We cause damage to what we hope for and create instability through our own doubt. www.outcastfory.com • • #Uncompromisi...

When we look at nature, we see that even animals have an instinct to wash and be clean. However, they can only stay clean if a source of purification is provided—which, in their case, is water. In the same way, God has provided a way for us as followers of Christ to wash our robes daily. www.outcastfory.com • • #FaithReflections #ChristianLiving #SpiritualGrowth #GodsGrace #DailyDevotion #CleanHea...
