Cineversal Nerds Legacy

Happy Halloween everyone!! For the final episode of my 31 day marathon, we get to the extremely divisive and polarizing last entry of the Halloween franchise. I forgot to mention this in the episode, but Michael Myers actually has a little more screentime in this than he did in the original 1978 film.

Happy Devil's Night!! Let's talk about the divisive follow-up to the great 2018 legacy sequel.

Almost done with the Halloween franchise. In this episode, I will be talking about the legacy sequel that ignored every entry past the original 1978 classic.

Alan and I continue the Halloween franchise with its first remake by Rob Zombie, and its sequel.

continuing the Halloween franchise with the 8th entry. I think this is the lowest point of the franchise so far. Its mere existence is mind-boggling.

In this episode, we talk about the first legacy sequel to the first two movies in this franchise.

Continuing the Halloween franchise with the 6th entry. In this episode, special guest, Ezra, and I discuss the two wildly different versions that were made of this movie.

Getting close to Halloween as we continue talking about Michael Myers' endless quest of killing with the 5th entry, as it starts to lean into the ridiculous cult storyline.

After the criticisms of Halloween III: Season of the Witch not having Michael Myers, this 4th entry brings him back to Haddonfield to hunt down Laurie Strode's daughter, Jamie Lloyd.

In this episode, I talk about the one and only entry that doesn't feature Michael Myers. This movie utilizes the actual holiday of Halloween to bring us a story about an evil corporation that makes deadly masks for children.

Continuing the Halloween franchise with the sequel that takes place on the same night as the first one. This movie also started the sibling storyline for Michael and Laurie.

Finishing off the rest of the month with the Halloween franchise and its 13 movies. For this episode, I am starting with the classic that started it all.

In this episode, I talk about the two final entries in the Return of the Living Dead franchise...for now. These two are definitely the worst of the series in my opinion.

In this 3rd entry, we get a more serious romance-horror tone. We move away from the punk-rock silliness of the first two movies for a story about two people in love that won't even let death get in their way.

More brains!! Continuing the Living Dead franchise with the only sequel that shared a similar tone with the original.

Do you wanna party?!! It's party time!! Let's take a look at the franchise that makes zombies crave for brains!

In this episode, Alan and I talk about Gizmo and the gremlins, from the two Joe Dante classics many of us grew up with.

Angela is having a 3rd party, and you're still invited!! Finishing off the trilogy of Night of the Demons, and the remake, where a new Angela throws a Halloween party for you too!!

Angela is having another party, and you're invited!! Continuing the Night of the Demons franchise with its sequel. The rest of this series are straight to video releases.

You're invited to Angela's Halloween party at Hull House, the abandoned funeral parlor, for night of dancing, drinking, a seance, and demonic entities. RSVP.

In this episode, Alan and I talk about the two hilarious blood-soaked zombie movies.

The Phantasm franchise comes to an end with its final installment, Ravager.

Continuing the Phantasm franchise with the 4th entry, we learn how the Tall Man came to be. Another sequel with balls.

Continuing the Phantasm franchise with the third entry that brings back the original core cast. The Ball is back again!

Continuing the Phantasm franchise with its higher budgeted and major studio produced sequel.
