Coming Alive

Stewarding with generosity is the idea that the life is a gift and we are here to tend to that gift so it can grow, bear fruit that impacts others and bring glory to God.

Connecting with kindness for us is a core value and a practice that reminds us that we are on mission. The goodness and power of Jesus in our lives is a truly profound experience and we are meant to share that with the people we encounter in our everyday lives

We actively live out God’s love, goodness and compassion through serving each other and our world. Servanthood is more than an action, it is an identity and a way of being that leads to wholeness of self and society. As a community serving with compassion, we are humble, committed, compassionate, empathetic, responsive and hardworking. Thus we bring about more healing, justice, dignity and peace t...

This August we embark on an amazing series around who we are called to be as a church family by God. It is a joy to have you as part of what God is doing here and in this City.

The Holy Spirit seems to release gifts upon people so they can participate in the agenda of God for the world and for the church.

Under the care of the Good Shepherd, our souls will be restored. Under the shepherding of our culture, our souls will be destroyed.” Jon Tyson

We will reflect on how the Holy Spirit equips us to show up to the world in loving, healing and redemptive ways. The Holy Spirit seems to release gifts upon people so they can participate in the agenda of God for the world and for the church.

We begin a series exploring the five-fold gifts (APEST). It is an exploration of how these gifts cause followers of Jesus to be a beneficial presence in the world.

Trinity is the identity of a God who always exists in relationship and therefore, we can come to him and connect with him in relationship.

Today is a very special Sunday. It is Pentecost Sunday. It is considered to be the birthday of the Church. Starting this week we will spend some time reflecting on and learning about the Holy Spirit and his operation in our lives. Today we are going to reflect on what we learn about God's heart from pentecost and the invitations that has for us!

Maybe it was something small. A word. A gesture. A note - Sheltering trees. Maybe it was big—a second chance, a healed relationship, a breakthrough, an invitation into something that changed your life - marriage work. You don’t walk away from a gift like that . Unless, of course, you’re the man in Mark 10.

We gather to reflect on being disciple making disciples… An invitation to deepen our connection to God, grow some roots as a community of faith and walking with another.

Friends, this Sunday, we gather to reflect on our true identity as articulated in the baptism of Jesus. This is an invitation to be secure in God.

We gather to reflect on the story of Ezekiel and the valley of dry bones. We are put in valleys to impact them with the power of God. This is an invitation to be bearers of the work of resurrection

We reflect on the power of God that calls us out of the dead. This is an invitation to know and trust the God who moves powerfully in our lives and our world.

Christ is Risen, He is risen indeed! We begin a series of conversations for the called Arise! We will be exploring how God has always been on the work of resurrection - breathing new life where there is none

How is it we can let Jesus free us from our need for certainty to a life that is more open to mystery and waiting!?

Where are you in this story? Are you with the mourning crowd or the hope-filled one? What part of your heart has become hard in response to pain? Invite Jesus to touch it. Where do you need to stop and show compassion today? Pay attention to who is near the “gate” in your life.

As we continue with the Lent Series Yes Lord, on this sunday we reflect on Jesus as the Lord of slowness, pausing and retreating to quite places to commune with God. Key Scripture is Matthew 11:28-30.

Today we look at Lord of Abundance. Our scripture is a familiar passage. Today’s scripture reading comes from John 2:1-12 Stand for the reading of the word.

The Lord of the Present says to you and I, behold I am doing a new thing, here and now, say Yes to me by leaving your past in it's rightful place.

Simplicity is not about doing less just for the sake of it; rather, it is about intentionally clearing the clutter so that we can center our lives around God's vision.

We begin the Lent Season with an exciting conversation anchored in the Gospel of Luke 5:1-11. Our prayer is that we are constantly in a posture of anticipation and surrender as we count down to Easter. Join us to embark on this journey together.
