The Porous Pod is a soft space for slow thinking and honest conversations at the edges of design and academia. Hosted by design researcher Jiwei Zhou, the podcast weaves through feminist-posthumanist thinking, design, multispecies, care and ethics, while opening up space for early-career researchers to share not only their insights but also their struggles. It welcomes voices navigating the messy realities of research, precarity, power dynamics, and the emotional labor that rarely makes it into publications.
