The Orangutan Academy
The Orangutan Academy is my active and raw journey through Mammahood and first time homeschooling. I’ve recently stumbled across the concept that it is not my responsibility to mold my children into amazing adult beings. They are born capable of that on their own. It’s my responsibility to remind them to listen to their innate inner voice they so lovingly brought into this world. Here’s my journey, by way of achievements and mistakes, that is aimed toward helping my children construct their unique lives, free from the burden of responsibility for other people’s happiness, including my own.

11. Wildly Colorful Entropy 05.06.2023 21:20
Entropy by definition is lack of order or predictability. Wildly colorful entropy is the creative space in my mind that allows me to set whimsical goals that are accomplished through the application of art and color. I'm recognizing this same concept within my own children which has in turn allowed me the privilege of witnessing their own products come to life and how this changes their attitude f...

This topic is not scary and it is not to be avoided or suppressed but simply embraced. This accidentally stumbled upon description of dea...

We've all heard the saying "Give the man a fish he eats for a day. Teach the man the to fish he eats for a lifetime". This is no different in the Orangutan Academy classroom. And even though we are not perfect and we fail, there are moments of triumph that deserve to be discussed because within those moments lies hope for what is to come. 5. Froggy Frog World 23.03.2023 12:58
