This week the team speaks to 102-game player Kevin Sheehan. Kevin debuted at the highest level in 1974 and called Kardinia Park home through to 1982, eventually going on to carve out a magnificent career in football administration specialising in talent identification. It was great to hear his journey from Bendigo to where Kevin now sits in the annals of VFL/AFL history.

We had a terrific time catching up with former Geelong wingman Michael Woolnough, reminiscing about his 117 games with the Cats from 1971-1978, before he ventured to Collingwood to add a further 24 to his terrific career.

The team caught up with electrifying wingman Robert 'Scratcher' Neal, an affable guest who played 200 games in the hoops before a further 20 matches over two seasons with St Kilda.

Stephen Reynoldson played 84 games for Geelong after being recruited from Strathmerton, just inside Victoria’s northern border. He would later go on to be a part of the Brisbane Bears inaugural season, eventually playing 58 games in all for the first iteration of the Queensland outfit.

Recruited from Geelong Football League powerhouse North Shore, Leo King played four games with the Cats before venturing off to VFA clubs Werribee and Geelong West, en route to a highly-acclaimed career with south-west Victorian team Portland.

146-game AFL player Glenn Kilpatrick proved a fabulous guest as Mark Brunger headed The Cats' Whiskers team for episode 3 of the 2024 season. 'Killer' takes the team through his journey to Essendon for 26 games, winning a Magarey Medal for West Adelaide in the SANFL, before eventually finding his way to Kardinia Park for 120 games from 1996 to 2002.

Among other things, a catch-up with Andrew 'The Rat' Bews sheds light on the early stages of his career and how this 282 VFL/AFL-gamer landed at Kardinia Park.
