Some of us will gladly watch and look forward to watching films about out plight in America. Some of us canNOT stomach another depiction of enslaved, beaten, downtrodden, impoverished, uneducated, exploited Black folk. Conversely some of us canNOT watch depictions of wealthy, educated, accomplished, respected Black folks. So what say you?

Some many of us spend too much time looking back to the point of dwelling on what is supposed to be behind us. Time to change your focus.

You can try to make me feel ashamed of being a BLACK WOMAN. You can try to dictate what beauty looks like and what intelligence acts like. You can try to tell me what I should what to be. We are different ethnicities.  We are different genders. We have different status in society. So, can we relate?

Like me, you grew up having to listen to Black folks say to you, "You sound white," "You talk so proper," "You're trying to be something you're not" or other such ridiculous comments. And at the same time, you've endured ludicrous comments from white folks like, "OH you're...

The POC Community in the U.S. has been at a disadvantage since colonial times. The country as a whole has been broken since its inception. There's a lot that needs to be fixed for a disadvantaged group living in a broken society. This has lead to a focus on fixing the broken rather than expanding the working. Join me and my guests as we discuss what the best course of action could be.

Let's talk about it. Trauma is real and will always be easy to find. Yet wisdom can see you through.

We are all familiar with the quote, "An eye for an eye” Gandhi's response to that was, “An eye for an eye will only make the whole world go blind.” Where do you think you fit in? The World is an ever evolving place. With that comes the evolution on concepts like gender. fairness, standards, etc. Join me and my panel of guests as we discuss the evolution of gender in sports. Black History is a very specific segment of American History in which we explore Black Americans, our contributions, what it's like to be Black in America, Black culture, white allies, and a look at white America's attitude towards Black America.

As I peacefully walk down the street holding a sign that says I'm Black I'm American I matter, people shout vile things, cuss at me, and display obscene gestures. Then they follow it up with Trump 2020.
