Robots and Reason

This show exists to give people a bit more hope in people. The future of technology is being built fast, and mostly out of sight. I want to get to know the humans that will be designing this future and find out what actually makes them tick. I hope to remind everyone of the richness in humanity, while talking about modern day philosophy, technology and of course… Robots.

Épisodes

Solo: What AI Actually Is (And Why It Can't Fold Your Laundry) 09.07.2026

A different kind of episode - flying solo. Is AI actually reasoning, or just very good pattern matching? I break down what AI actually is (pattern matching, not magic), why robots can backflip but can't use a pencil, and my case for why grounded reasoning is the real barrier to superintelligence.

Social Media - With Chiya Srivastava 27.06.2026

On this weeks episode of the Robots and Reason podcast, Chiya and I discussed the effects social media has had on our own lives, and its role in the world. We talked about how we can improve the platforms many of us spend our lives on, to make them suited for the humans behind the screens.

Have we already crossed the line? - With Georges Kreidy 20.06.2026

This episode we talked about where the ethical lines surrounding technologies of the future (and today) lie. We discussed how much AI personalization is okay, the concept of a home robot, the risks and benefits of using superintelligence to coordinate economies, social media, and the nuances that lie between.

Climate Tech: The Path from Lab to Industry - With Charlie Johnston 06.06.2026

This week, Charlie Johnston and I talked about the difference between creating climate solutions, and actually implementing them. We discussed his work with the project SPLITTER, a predictive maintenance platform for PEM electrolysis stacks for green hydrogen production. Then, together we discussed optimism in times of uncertainty and how we can face big problems in the world head-on.

Going Nuclear - With Deina Neokleous and Eliot Chaize 30.05.2026

Today we talked about the feasibility of Nuclear Fusion technology. The political challenges, material challenges, and of course, technological challenges. Eliot and Deina discussed their stories, and what gives them hope for the future of technology.

Robots Reasoning and People Corrupting - With Manas Lodha 23.05.2026

On this fourth episode of Robots & Reason Manas and I discussed the robotics world that we are exploring. We also discussed the state of privacy and corruption within the modern world.

Ambition and Innovation - With Disha Mrinalini Murugavel 16.05.2026

In this third episode of Robots and Reason, Disha and I dig into a deceptively simple question: how much is enough? We follow it through ambition and drive, and then through money and the incentives that pull at all of us. It's a conversation about what fuels a builder. We explore Disha's passions, her philosophy, and the future she's working toward.

AI & Trust - With Sarp Gençer 09.05.2026

On this second episode of Robots And Reason, Sarp and I discussed trust in the age of artificial intelligence: Trust with information, AI, corporations and other people. What does the world of the future we want to build look like?

Forging a life - with Lara Seitz 02.05.2026

On this first episode of Robots and Reason, Lara and I talked about forging a life, building hope, and our relationships with both people and media. Are we becoming more antisocial?
