For our May 9 episode we conclude our series featuring the students and fine arts programs within Edmond Public Schools. Today we sit down with EPS Director of Fine Arts, Mr. Eddie Hudson Jr. The series is a lead up to the First Annual Edmond Public Schools Fine Arts Festival taking place on Saturday, May 10th from 10am until 2pm in the parking lot of Edmond Music.

For our January 17 episode we conclude our visit with the Deer Creek Band Program. We sit down with senior drum major and clarinettist, Jake Westrope, along with his band director, Mr. Darby Cassday.

For our November 22 episode we visit the Carl Albert High School Band program. We sit down with senior percussionist, Caden Farrow, along with his band director, Mr. Travis Miller.

For our October 25 episode we finish up our time with the Newcastle Band Program. We sit down with senior clarinetist Braxton Cyrus and sophomore percussionist and guard member Emma Engelke along with their band directors, Mr. Ryan Siebert and Ms. Whitney Callen.

For our October 18 episode we continue our visit with the Newcastle HS Band program. We sit down with senior hornist and drum major, Katelynn Lewis, and freshman percussionist, Kasen Cook, along with their band directors Mr. Ryan Siebert and Ms. Whitney Callen.

For our October 11 episode we finish up our visit with the Edmond Santa Fe Orchestra and senior violinist Maxwell Xie along with director Ms. Sarah Neely. We then head to Newcastle High School and meet with junior flautist and drum major Abby Barnes and her directors Mr. Ryan Siebert and Ms. Whitney Callen.

For our October 4 episode of Rising Melodies we are featuring the Edmond Santa Fe Orchestra Program. We sit down with LeAnne Nashiri, a senior violinist, and Sophie Johnson, also a senior violinist, and they are joined by their director, Ms. Sarah Neely.

For our inaugural episode, we speak with Edmond North students Laura Hendrasaputra, clarinet and Dane Frost, horn, along with head band director Dr. Brad Coker.
