Nehemiah 9 gives a beautiful overview of the torah and God's steadfast love amidst the infidelity of the Israelites. Nehemiah confesses the sin of his people which led to them now be in captivity. Jason walks us through how following Jesus means that we will be transformed through a healthy pattern of confession and community.

Advent series part 4! Joseph is visited by the angel and told to go to Egypt because Herod is preparing to kill all of the children in the area. Dustin dives into this passage and invites us to examine the Kingdom that we live for.

"Now the birth of Jesus happened this way... " The miraculous story of the conception of Jesus invites us to have faith in the word of God-- that the prophesies would be fulfilled and how our God would become an infant.

Josh begins our Advent 2024 by opening Matthew 1:1-17. The genealogy of Jesus is a very messy and honest account of how God has used unexpected people to bring his kingdom to Earth.

In this passage, the people of God deeply impacted by the reading of the law. Jason walks us through how the word of God, with the holy spirit, brings change and transformation. This passage ends with the Israelites celebrating the feast of booths, a tradition around reorienting their hearts around the promises of God.

Jason takes us through Nehemiah 8:1-10. Ezra opens the torah before an assembly of the people returning to Jerusalem. The books of Ezra and Nehemiah are beautifully interwoven- as two men assembling the people of God. Jason examines who God is gathering and our proper response to this "divine activity."

Pat leads us through Nehemiah 7. Nehemiah gives his brother charge over the gate of Jerusalem. Pat walks us through God's faithfulness through the names recorded of the people who returned to Jerusalem.

Join us as Jason takes us through Nehemiah 6. Nehemiah remains steadfast as the enemies of Jerusalem seek to entrap him. Jason walks us through Nehemiah's commitment to his purpose, the truth, and his reliance on God; and how it applies to our lives today and points towards Jesus.

Join us as Jason opens Nehemiah 5. Nehemiah hears about the corruption, injustice, and exploitation of his people by his own cabinet. Nehemiah calls out his nobles and leaders and calls for them to fear God. Jason dives into what it means and why we fear God. "When there is no fear of God, there grows entitlement, presumption, pride or self-righteousness even within those that love God."

Join us as Josh takes us through Nehemiah 3-4. Josh continues to explain the overarching narrative of Nehemiah and gives practical application through this passage of history. Josh encourages us to not live in fear, but trust that God is with us; and good work is a gift from the God.

Join us as Jason opens Nehemiah 2. Where God leads, He provides. Just as God called Nehemiah; He provided in circumstances, preparation, and community. Just as God calls Redemption; He provides through Jesus Christ, his church, and his greater timing.

Join us as Pat dives into Nehemiah's first prayer. Pat leads us through the adoration, confession, and supplication of Nehemiah and how it is an amazing model for our own prayer lives. The prayer life of Nehemiah is the amazing description of "[God's] highest willingness" in answering our prayers.

Join us as Jason kicks off our new study in Nehemiah. Jason dives into Nehemiah's Biblical Theology, which is how the book fits into the whole context of scripture. As a church, we are excited to look into Nehemiah and see Jesus.

Join us as Josh dives into a spiritually heavy passage as we near the end of the book of Ephesians. This passage carries two heavy imperatives: to be strong in the Lord and put on the whole Armor of God. Josh walks us through the context of the passage which lays a foundation for understanding spiritual warfare. Join us next week as Josh continues to dive into this passage.

Join us as Dustin opens Ephesians 6:5-9, Pauls instruction to bondservants and masters. Dustin dives into the cultural context of the passage and urges us to pull application for our lives today. "Our walk in the workplace is to display the presence and power of the Spirit of God working within us."

Join us as Jason opens Ephesians 6. The gospel family is a picture that is repeated and illustrated throughout scripture. Jason dives into why obeying your parents is an expression of the Gospel and how how biblical headship of the household requires a submission to, and passion for, Christ.

Join us as Pat opens Ephesians 5:22-33. Paul's instructions for how marriage is to reflect God and his goodness. Pat walks us through gospel living wives and gospel living husbands becoming one flesh through submission and sacrifice.

Join us as Dustin continues our verse by verse teaching on Ephesians. Paul instructs the us, the church, to make our life and time count, seek the will of God, and remain sober minded and spirit filled. Dustin invites us to continue to grow in thankfulness and wisdom.
