Full transparency: I got to a point of going back to the ways the Lord delivered me from. Repenting for the same sins over and over until the Lord let me know I desperately needed some good ole pure spiritual milk. Something I have learned is that desire and motivation alone will not help you reach your goals. The real changes happen when we begin to push past ourselves and let discipline steer our actions.

Oftentimes, as believers, we tend to hide in shame when we struggle instead of leaning on God. One wrong move, and you're backsliding like a '90s R&B singer! It becomes easy to carry silent shame when we fall short, choosing to hide rather than seek God's grace. I've learned that the more I run from God in my moments of despair, the further I drift from Him.
